bleep77 I never thought of Dave Grohl as a rockstar. When I think of a rockstar I think of the 80s, the dude with all the chicks and drugs he could get his hands on living in the big mansion and all that shit. It’s like a fantasy.
Dave Grohl is just living breathing proof that a kid from Virginia who loves music can make it.
The only other true rock stars around today who are still kicking ass that I can think of are Eddie Vedder, Axl Rose, Slash, Liam Gallagher, and Noel Gallagher. And that's not mentioning the rock stars of old who are still making noise like Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Sting, and Billy Joel.

3:30 Dave says Taylor doesn’t drink anymore. I wondered about that because in more recent years I never saw photos of him drinking or video of him drinking anything other than water or Gatorade on stage.

I remember years back at the Rainbow running into Vinnie Paul coming out of the bathroom (I'm from Detroit on vacation). I said Vinnie? He says yeah man, I just thanked him for their music, it was shortly after Dime was killed. I didn't have the heart to ask for an autograph, not appropriate.
