Kirby - Vs. Nightmare Remix (Final Boss phase 1 and 2) [Kamex]

- Its been about a year since I did a Kirby remix and like 5 years since before that. This time it's Nightmare's theme from adventure. (but I'm sure he's in other kirby games too idk yet.
Anyway I remember waaay back in 2013 when my friend wanted me to remix this for him so without knowing anything about kirby, I just went ahead and remixed nightmare's theme. Now that I've fought him in adventure, I know the context and remixed the theme again.
It started off as a joke to see if I can remix the phase 1 theme because it gave me some mad neurofunk vibes which was fun to mess around with. But then I realized it would be like a 30 second remix because the song was really simple and the loop was really short. So I combined it with nightmare's theme which is his phase 2. Both songs are really short so it was a little hard finding ways to turn it into a full length remix without looping too much to the point where it sounds repetitive. So I wanted to create a change in structure which is what you'll find in 1:48. Honestly I felt like the song sounded very bland without it so I was happy when I finally came up with something to differentiate from the main "chorus" part.
Anyway there may be more kirby remixes to come, but that depends if one catches my attention while playing through them, which is likely since the soundtrack is a bop.

Who do you think is more threatening: game Nightmare or anime Nightmare?
I say anime Nightmare, because in the anime, he's a intergalactic, world conquering, warlord with an army of monsters and a base the size of a planet. Game Nightmare on the other hand, shows up and then dies immediately to a marshmallow with a magic wand.
Well TBF game Nightmare takes the Star Rod attacks much better than Animare.
And he can summon Dark Matters! If they took this next level, they could have make Nightmare summon Zero! Basically, the anime portrayed him as the source of most evil... Even those who are not related to him IN GAME.
Come to the newest Kirby game, it seems that Parallel Nightmare is more akin to Nightmare's anime version minus his intergalactic empire, complete with his anime voice actor!
Ingame was pretty scary, believe me, the death sprites were creepy in Kirby's Adventure. Well, after all, he IS a Nightmare...
This was my favorite boss fight as a kid. Made me so nervous but it was so thrilling at the same time.
Never played any Kirby game nor do i know the original theme but this is still good!
Kirby games are insane with deep lore, so I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Kirby, nightmare in Dreamland was the only Kirby game my dad had ever gotten so it was a pretty big part of my childhood. It's awesome knowing that the coolest fight of that game got a good remix by a good artist.

Nightmare should return as a Kirby villain so he can have new lore
Christopher Moon Nightmare I do think has a lot of potential but yea, we don't really know much about him. I had a theory that he is the equivalent to the Devil in Dreamland and maybe other planets that have Star Rods (the Milky Way Wishes planets) have there own "Nightmares" but that is not confirmed in anyways but who knows.
