... If my memory serves me correctly, this should be the first time I've remixed a song for Halloween that, technically, has nothing to do with the celebration--but, I think it worked out anyway because Giratina is one creepy dude, and his theme is menacing as crap!
Instead of straying too far from the frantic feeling the original song emanated, I actually tried my best to accentuate it by keeping up a fast tempo, accompanied with some aggressive synths and a driving bassline. As a concept for a remix, it's definitely a bit different than the usual approach I go for (which tends to be more liberal in direction when compared to the source), but I still did my typical thing where I utilized a fair amount of original ideas and melodies, of course. The section towards the middle, starting around 1:39 and ending at 2:22 is where the mix really begins to branch off from the original (both in tone and structure) and it was also subsequently the most interesting, and challenging part of the remix for me to make, lol. Fun fact, that section was alone the catalyst that led to the reason why I gave up on this one (I started it initially in January) until I picked it back up again recently. While it's a bit unfortunate I couldn't have made this sooner, I am honestly kind of glad I got stuck regardless as that gave me some time to gain a new perspective on the mix. Well, that and my mixing (while still not perfect) HAS improved since nine months ago, so that's neat.
The only thing that I'm really unsure about at this point is the hard-style inspired section, but who cares at this point I suppose, hahaha.

I actually replayed my copy of Platinum, when I fought and captured Giratina, I turned my DS volume down, put this remix on, and turned the bass up to max.

Normally when I listen to songs over and over again I get tired of them
But this one is just so well done
Beginning part sounds like a fight for survival, but as we get closer to the middle part it becomes more of a fight for Giratina’s worthiness, than once we get to the last bit we have shown our worth and once the tempo picks back up it’s time to finish the fight and capture Giratina.

I was about to remix this song for Halloween but I ran out of time because of other remixes (it's coming though).
Anyway, good shit. The drums are really dynamic, soundscape is amazing. You manage to put a rather complex song into straight forward song which I find awesome haha. Excellent soloing and amazing melodies. One of you best remixes yet, man!
That's actually kind of funny--I originally wasn't planning on remixing this at all for Halloween (as you'd probably be able to guess, considering you've heard a WIP of this months ago) but I decided to rework it when I didn't have time to make any OTHER remixes, lol.

And yeah, we don't celebrate Halloween that much in Finland. In recent years there's been all kind of Halloween stuff at markets during the end of October though, but children don't really go house to house asking "trick or treat" haha.
I like this one, you keep a good rhythm throughout it and manage to make some interesting dynamics throughout the song. Probably one of your better ones imo.

coming back to leave another comment on this masterpiece; i remember one time my best friend and i were home alone at my house, so i hooked this song up to my fathers speakers (he's a musician, so these speakers were massive. professional grade stuff, you know?) and i cranked up the volume and this thing SHOOK my house. the bass was so loud it was like giratina was actually coming out of the mirror realm for our asses, i swear to god not even groudon could recreate those tremors. i actually went outside and you could hear it down the block from my house. had to turn it off (unfortunately) because no way in hell was i going to blow out my dad's speakers or get a noise complaint, although would it really be a noise complaint? i was enlightening my entire neighborhood to emdasche's kickass beats, they should be grateful.
anyways i just wanted to share this silly little memory i have of this song. this shit is by far worthy of giratina.

Best remix on this channel. *NO* best pokemon remix..... *PERIOD* Every sound effect and instrument is blended in perfectly, the "calm" music is really creepy and really sets the mood, while the voracious electro makes everything else perfect.
