The music directors (or whomever produces the songs for pitch perfect) are/is extremely musical. It’s so amazing to listen to the accapella’s. While they all are a bit high pitchy and because of that sometimes a tiny bit “flat”, they all sound amazing. This is of course because they must only use women and only there voice (no instruments). But props to the songwriter and singers!
