my guess with the jump glitch is that the devs neglected to make use of multi-threading so that the game loop, which would control input, animation and the jump function, stops while the game is "paused". Instead it continues in the background while the pause screen is up and has to flash forward to catch up to the frames that are now being processed by the game loop.
this reminds me of the time I reviewed a horror walking simulator and found out I could fly by holding physics objects under me. glitches like this kinda make the games better.

This Game was made by a Spanish development team, who haven't made any other games, and couldn't find English voice actors. I'd say that's a game built to last.
