The blank mask layer tip was a brilliant bit of serendipity! I’d had a go at recolouring but often found that red selected too much in the picture. Often the area you want to recolour is discrete of the other areas, so just adding the mask and doing some quick brush strokes should work a treat!
I’m really enjoying your content very formative and easy to follow Could you please do a tutorial on realistic t-shirts mockup (like it feels real with t-shirts wrinkles) Cause I couldn’t find any tutorials on affinity 2
Guten Tag! :) Good question, it depends on the colour of the hair in the first place, if it's blond or similar light colour I've used the 'recolour' filter in the past with good results. Black or darker hair is tricker. Might make a tutorial on this down the line :)
Just what I needed. Question. I want to recolour using the eye dropper ( for a more specific colour/ tone. I don’t see I can do that with Hsl. Like, what if the colour I want to change is like, brown.. What colour in the Hsl tab would I start with if I wanted to change to, cay beige. Start with red?
Hi Andrew, great video as usual. Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Just a quick question, do you recommend a screen cover for your Ipad, to avoid fingerprint marks, possible scratches and other things? I am using Paperlink, and I am really not happy with it. Thank you!
Thanks Mario and yes I use Paperlike, the exact one I use is in the description of the video… it’s pricey compared to other screen protectors but I’m really impressed with it, love it in fact! Couldn’t do without it to be honest. Hope this helps… did you mean paperlike or paperlink sorry? Haven’t come across paperlink that’s why I ask :)
If you watch my video titled 'Beginner's Guide to Masking 2022' although it's for AP1 iPad I take you step by step and explain masking slower and better, it might help you :)
Accent's great...its the knowledge that matters. Thanks!!
So nice of you, thank you very much :)
I haven't heard "scundered" for years! Quality video, as always. Happy St P Day to you.
lol… thanks Martin, as soon as I said it, I thought nobody will know what am on about and best try to explain lol :)

Hello Andrew, great video as usual. Is there an easy way to color hair, too? Best regards from Germany.

@@CreativeGoodman yes, sorry, Paperlike. Appreciate the reply!
I like your work a lot. Wish AF iPad would like you have multiple windows open so it would be easier to please images when compositing
Thanks and yes that would be great addition to AP iPad, maybe one day they will make that possible :)
How do you free transform a selection? I’m tryna extend a background.
Thank you 🎉👏👏👏
You’re welcome Alexis:)
Super! Tks ❤

Qué tal va affinity photo 2 en un iPad 9?
How to change white colors in the photo into blacks?
Oh no. When I painted black on the mask, the painted part became transparent. I must have some setting wrong.

nope staying with V1
Yes, V1 is still good :)
«Suprisingly easy to use» -proceeds to use 20 minutes to explain it.
It’s my only criticism of this channel. Too long and too much talk.
20 minutes?
