This is good, too. According to the interview, the song was recorded five years ago. It's a YUYOYUPPE's song. It's good, haha. Thank you from Japan! This weekend, I will go to the live show in Yokohama!
Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 The moment I heard that vocaloid (Hatsune Miku) style i knew Yuyoyuppe (aka YuppeMetal) was behind this song which also reminds me a lot to Kagerou, and no wonder why, he's the one behind that song too and he gives that BM style unique sound in songs like Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Megitsune, and also Monochrome. MoaMetal is also a fan of his work despite the ridiculous time signatures that torture them lol We also got the first full English lyrics of this new album after a while and the first time released in Japan. They already got three songs entirely in English but those were released internationally. This was written and recorded 5 years ago and you can even hear a more childish vocals. Like they said, this is a collaboration between past and present selves, and is about the fact that you don’t see the same thing that others see, the English lyrics express a different personality and pov. Here's some official info: Believing (INVERTED MIRROR REFLECTION) _Even if the seasons change and time passes, some things remain the same and some change. When light reflects in the mirror, what appears are two faces and two relative worlds. Who should we believe: someone else’s words or your own?_ I like your last train of thought. Nice one, thanks! Again, another of my favorites from the new album. Super heavy and super melodic. 100% BABYMETAL Your mini "rant" about music and musicians made me smile because that reminded me a recurrent sentence about my job: "I'm a software engineer. I'm not going to fix your phone" (and you can change phone by PC, laptop, TV or washing machine, haha...).
What a great reaction!👍 Watching Babymetal reactions, from actual musicians, has made me appreciate the music more. I’m in my late 50s and am only now discovering why certain music, appeals to me. Time signatures, chord progression…….. I wish I’d paid attention, more, in music class.
The whole "I have no idea what they are going to do" aspect is one of the great joys of Babymetal. Their ability to take something familiar like metal and then turn it completely on it's ear and create something new and unique is what makes them special.
I appreciate the tiny rant at the end, totally agree with the points. As a hobby drummer myself, I'd say its more so that you should enjoy the process of making the art of music. Just because people are better than you, doesn't mean you can't do your own job well. Its better to go at our own pace rather than stressing to play the song ourselves just because of... for lack of a better word, our competitive mentality. And like you said, Just Enjoy Music. If you really enjoyed this song, the variety in drums, and the catchy guitar tones, its composed by the wonderful Yuyoyuppe! (ゆよゆっぺ) This song is very very similar to that of his Vocaloid songs, especially the intro vocals, he's quite the popular vocaloid producer (dubbed the "luka master" for having the best Megurine Luka tuning). Another song composed by yuppe in this Babymetal album is Monochrome which is also a banger, but I recommend you also check out his other works outside of Babymetal! I don't know if you enjoy or dislike vocaloid, but you should definitely check out his most popular song Leia - Remind. Based on a comment made on that music video on youtube, that song has *8 different time signatures* throughout. The sequel song to Leia - Remind is Reon - Remind. These songs is in his album called Draw, and every song are interconnected and respectively serve as sequels to the previous songs in the album (a crossfade). These songs are so aggressive yet very emotional, and the *drums* for this album are all freakin awesome. Ah, sorry for going on a tangent and for recommending songs again haha, i can't help myself if its yuyoyuppe😅
@@CatharsisYT yo thats great! I'd love to watch the stream vod with his songs but I think they're older than 2 months since I can't seem to find them on twitch, sad. Well, if anything, I do hope to come to your streams and request his songs. Btw, I watched you play some Foreground Eclipse from the vod 10 days ago, I haven't seen anyone do a drum cover of it online so it was really awesome
I don't know if it was a reference or just coincidence unless the producer said it was outright. Music is still fairly finite with how it can be written, so I'm not against it being pure coincidence
If you like something as Babymetal, I highly, really recommend listen to the 'Roselia' or 'Raise a Suilen(RAS)' 's musics. or 'Rondo'from D4DJ is also a damn-great band that plays mixture of electro/rock. I suggest thoese live concert or music videos Roselia - Fire bird RAS - Expose burnout (+introduction of RAS from 9th live), you must have to see guitar and drum Rondo - Calendula, also guitar is really sick.
This is good, too. According to the interview, the song was recorded five years ago. It's a YUYOYUPPE's song. It's good, haha. Thank you from Japan! This weekend, I will go to the live show in Yokohama!

I have heard a few of his other vocaloid works thanks to my request streams. I've (attempted) to play them as a result🫠

I'm glad my word vomit doesn't scare everyone away 🫠
What do you think about the T.A.T.U. reference in this song?
"All the things I said" done in that style, sounds really familiar xD
I don't know if it was a reference or just coincidence unless the producer said it was outright. Music is still fairly finite with how it can be written, so I'm not against it being pure coincidence
@@CatharsisYT Yeah, but if it's only a coincidence it's a pretty big one: the sound it's almost identical, same as the words and the cadence :D
Yes, the Tatu reference cannot be just a coincidence.
theres actually a mash up of the 2 tracks.. mostly T.A.T.U vocals over the BABYMETAL track.. with like 2 or 3 lines of BABYMETAL on it.
