@myke great video, and a thank you! Over the summer i asked if you thought 37 was too old to be starting out in pdr. Since then ive been working with my dealerships pdr guys practicing on dents after my shift as a mechanic. They are amazed how fast im picking it up after 6 months practicing on my own car using improvised tools and sunlight. The secret is the practice and paying attention to your videos and some of the other pdr guys videos. Basically turned learning metal flow theory and watching dent videos and practice into a second full time job. Sooo much easier with the real tools and actual light though. Looking to make my hail claim on my nice car and get some tools soon
I don't see why not. I trained with Myke when I was 35. Drive and dedication will set you apart. If you're serious about advancing in PDR, you can't go wrong with Myke's recommended tools, same league as Snap-On in your industry. Good luck!
I use a cad design program called Solidworks. After I design a complex surface like the fender of a super car. I can check the smooth surface flow with selection of zebra stripes. I move the surface in 3D and see how the zebra stripes flow perfectly. If the strips clash I need to readjust the surface. 🦓
I’m actually tapping on the lines. Unfortunately the camera doesn’t follow my head movement, so it shows false information as if I’m tapping between when I’m actually tapping on. Thank you.
I am new to PDR, Ive done some body work before. Do you have training videos for beginners? How much are they ? I already have the Rods,, glue pullers and other tools. I practiced and have trouble locating the dent with the PDR rods.
Just bought me a car door, I have a dent on my car I have been working on it for about 3 days and I have some good clean results on it but I don't wanna risk it all so I bought me the door so I can increase my skills before messing with my car door
Your videos are why I consider you the best! I’ve been at it for 24 years and still enjoy watching your content! Always great tips!
Wow, thank you! 🙏

Nicely

I can’t find my tip in those lines to save my life
Well
I just think it’s weird that Zan doesn’t like this line technique.
It’s not that he doesn’t like it. It’s because he doesn’t understand it enough to like it. 😉
IDK, It looks like some kinda voodoo to me....I had no clue this was even a thing.
Dong Kong was pretty bad lol
