- Yay first crack! Next one will have more in it I promise! I just REALLY wanted to have a crack that showed EVERY SINGLE TIME (almost) that Hiccup hasn't been safe in the franchise. Which is TOO MUCH!

Hiccup has been almost shot by a crapton of arrows, fireballs, spikes, keep getting thrown away from his dragon, keeps falling from the sky, almost got hit by a train of rolling logs, almost got blasted, fell unconscious inside a gas filled cage, almost roasted, almost got hit by Ryker, almost got eaten, got kidnapped multiple times, and almost got hit by boulders.
How come he is still alive after all of that hell he went through?

Hahahaha this had me in stitches, OHMYTHOR it was wonderful. It is so true though, Hiccup is not safe (which makes some of us worry..) I showed this to a friend who is not an HTTYD fan, and his exact words were "does this kid have a death wish?"

I think you managed to use almost every scene where Hiccup was in trouble, and I have to agree, it's amazing that he's still alive, even if we all basically know the reasoning. ^^;

Actually, Hiccup is kept alive because he's the main character of the movies, which are centered around him. An example would be if he'd actually of drowned during The Eel Effect when he was being strangled by an eel, How To Train Your Dragon 2 never would of happened because Hiccup wouldn't be alive, and thus never would of been able to meet his mother until she finally died. I suppose that, in a way, you're right as the movies are for entertainment, but the real reason Hiccup never dies in the TV and Netflix series is because of the fact that if he did, the events of HTTYD 2 and the upcoming third movie couldn't of actually happened, thus it's needed that he only has close calls with dying, but never does die.
