The thing I loved about the show was that hiccup actually has decent relationships with his friends rather than the movies, Astrid is the only one in the movies that is still a great relationship. Hiccup and fish legs geek out together, snotlout learns to respect hiccup as a leader eventually and sometimes hiccup listens to the twins and they actually help out.

I was thinking some dragons including Toothless would leave but not others because like why would they ?? They already have deep connections with the people so like it doesn’t make sense

I really appreciate how despite where the animation occasionally (but still thankfully rarely) is lacking, (which I obviously understand is due to a much lower budget than the movies) the writing and character development is absolutely top notch and never fails to make me laugh or connect with the perfect dynamics of these amazing characters

I love how Fishlegs isn’t big and stupid, he’s actually insanely intelligent, and my 4th favorite character.

We are talking about 6 18-19 years olds on their own island with dragons, and they are going to battles on their back. Of course it's chaotic and hysterical!
