The smoky vintage fostoria ? glasses are gorgeous! I’ve started switching out my antique pieces as they stand up to daily use better in my home. The chunky weighted textured feeling checks all of my boxes.

The March/April edition of Victoria magazine features an article on the town of Waterford and also of the gift shop. I saw a few things that you've featured in your intro! Now that I shop vintage I am conscious about labels although I don’t like the look of a paper label on an item. Previously I scrubbed off any labels I came across. Somehow I can’t imagine you searching goodwill bins. I think you should do that in a video !

Those prices were crazy high. 😮 I bought the Lenox napkin holder for $19 new at Macy’s, and they are sold together.
That is just about the only item there that is priced high. Otherwise, a store full of great deals.

I always remove the sticker, unless saving for a gift. Displaying it for home use is rather gauche in my opinion.

I’ve been enjoying your channel for a few months now and you have taught me a lot! I now want to search through thrift and consignment stores every time I see one. I recently found and bought a large Waterford Marquis bowl for $36. I bought it for my granddaughter who recently hoped I still had a punch bowl. It is a good size for a medium sized punch bowl but I don’t believe it was designed to be a punch bowl. It’s lovely and think the design will endure and be timeless. Are you able to give me an era for this bowl? I’ve found a few online from $38 up to $140 which I’m guessing is highly overpriced. It is Waterford vintage Quadrata Marquis bowl made in Poland and has lovely frosted squares midway around the bowl. I’ve researched and not found a date/era. Are you familiar? It is so fun looking through these stores with a bit of knowledge thanks to you. I look at rose bowls and footed compote dishes with a new appreciation! Thank you!
Wonderful that your granddaughter appreciates glass and crystal. A punch bowl is in her future. Marquis by Waterford launched in 1994. It was originally manufactured at the Nachtmann factory in Germany. Later, it was made in Eastern Europe. The Quadrata pattern was made in the late 1990’s.
