We had a relationship for four years. 2010 -01-22 - 2014-04-01. I remember first time I came to Agadir, I was out walking all the day, and we started to go out on night clubs such as Papagayo, Actors and Dreams, that later changed owner and changed the name to Extreme. What the name is today, 2021 09 02, I am not sure. I fell in love with Agadir, also due to the Atlantic sea, the great food, It was so calm and it has the best weather all year in Morocco and the souk that i think is the best in the country. I lived back then in Casablanca, and all the stress and so much people, I found Agadir a place to come and relax couple of days every month. I also found some clients there for my Norwegian Antibac ethanol products so I could start to combine business with pleasure. The funny was that i planned to stay for three days but somehow the three days became at least five days. When i moved to Marrakech in November 2013, I found Marrakech much easier to live in then Casablanca, and less stressful, so I mostly came to Agadir with products my clients needed and stayed only two days and went back to Marrakech. Or I did my "triangle" trip. Marrakech - Agadir - Essaouira - Marrakech for my products i also sold in Essaouira. Now living in Sweden from 2016, and have been back couple of times to Agadir, it can even bring me some tears to see this video, due to it has been a while and i sure miss sitting at my favorite restaurant close to the Atlantic sea, having a three course lunch, a fresh pressed Avocado frut sec or a Fresh pressed Panashe, feel the warm soft wind on my face, and look out at all the people and the sea...
Hi, well filmed!! I'm really glad for what you did. I wish that you are having a great time here in Agadir, Im proud of my city and all my country.. however Agadir merits giving it much more attention and care. so we hope for the better in the future.
to rent a car cost different depending on how many days you want it. the longer time the cheaper. how many days are you thinking to rent? what city? the price can differ regarding from what city you plan to re t.
it was my relaxation place when I lived in Morocco. I had to come to Agadir once every month for at least 5 days. specially when I lived and worked the four first years in Casablanca, the stress and the traffic, made Agadir the place I could “recover” but also work in. when I moved to Marrakech it became even closer to Agadir, but due to Marrakech is much more calm city to live in than Casablanca, I went less to Agadir during that period of my life. But now, when I live back in Sweden, and have not traveled to Morocco for 10 month, I miss Agadir a lot. but of course, Casablanca is “my city” due to it’s the city I lived and spend most time during my 7 years living in Morocco, and Marrakech has its places I also miss. But I can’t keep away that Agadir has the best climate all year of all cities in Morocco I have visited. And I love the ocean 🌊 and the beaches and my favorite restaurants in Agadir. so... “I’ll be back” as soon as I can travel to Morocco.
Except for Marina nothing has been changed. More hotels but no more tourists. The reason is the mentality of people and the mayor and offcourse the authorities.
