I gifted me the Balmain Discovery set for Christmas. I'm working my way through it. I like a few, but I haven't found the one or two yet. Hermes makes a few Discovery sets and their fragrances work for me. But I will continue to trial Balmain. We'll see...
Great video. But this Balmain line is a bit difficult. Bronze and Ebene are arguably two of the worst, sitting pretty at the bottom. The other two or three florals are just not me, florals in general are not my thing. But the clear winner for me was Carbone followed by Blue Infini. Carbone is nicely blended not too loud supple suede fragrance.
Thanks for the amazing first look at these! Quite intrigued by them - especially since the new high end ranges from Valentino and Rabanne were both quite disappointing.
I tried to order from both Valentino and rabanne and couldn’t here in the states. The Balmain range is so good. They’re expensive, but long lasting and potent. Thank you for watching my video! Your are the best!
@@vscents5674 The Valentino ones are pretty generic (except for a couple) but performance is shocking. And the Rabanne ones are a little more interesting but they all lean sweet and share a creamy/ambery base.
@vscents5674 you can say that again! I've only tested Rouge and Carbone so far, but both have insane performance. Carbone especially...that thing lasted around 18 hours on me!
Blue Infini with its minerality strongly reminds me of Ganymede, but with an interesting earthy/salty twist. Beautiful and special scent 🐚 But my prediction in the most popular - Rouge and Ivoire: seductive and it so easy to like them❤
It’s was my favorite as well. It seems unoriginal at first but it’s a terrific fragrance. Another one that surprised me after wearing it more was carbone
Looking forward to your review! Looking at the website for the fragrances it appears they sell at $300 for about 1.6 ounces of EDP. That seems quite pricey?
They are very pricey. Something I did notice after filming the video. All of them have amazing longevity. Like they will last days in clothing. Very impressive,
Received a gift of Balmain carbone and I have to say it's horrendous akin it to anesthetic literally nauseated after spraying it on my skin Scrubbing to get it off as it's awful like cats pee I hate tom ford fragrances black orchid in particular makes me queasy but this is worse

Rouge is great!
Just received my discovery set and trying each sample on my skin (1 per day) … so far, Bleu Inifini is my first favorite

The box you have- they are ONE POINT FIVE (1.5) mls and NOT 5 mls...the miniature coffret set has 4 ml bottles for $255!
Nice
Very nice.
Sorry for my ignorance but are all those unisex? Great video new suscriber.
Yes! They are all unisex, and don’t be sorry. There is no such thing as a dumb question. We all learn somehow. Thank you for the sub! 💙

Which perfume do you think smell like "carbone"
Smells like Anesthetic used in a vets surgery
it's absolutely awful made me feel nauseous after one spray
