@@te9591it’s fantastic. Imo feels a bit more digestible for those that have a more pop-centric taste, but I definitely don’t think that’s a bad thing, not inherently at least. And even with that said, some of Aphex’s most ambitious stuff is on that release as well. It’s a real mixed bag, which I think can be really engaging for an album when executed well.
@ermmmidklol3308 i think Aphex Twin is a genius level of hit or miss as a whole. Richards albums can sometimes feel like a brilliant artists sketch book. I also think Kevin Cey is like this, and along with Gesaffelstein.

It actually ranges from "stunning beauty" over "weird & catchy" to "dark & unsettling". It is in fact one of those albums you have to understand and accept to love it.

SAW Vol. 2 is exactly the kind of sweetness you get stuck in for three weeks. Personal fave Aphex album.
