The built in armor is very nice for games where midnight ambushes are common. Playing kingmaker and so many night combat where our full plate champion is fighting without their armor.

I love the Surki, they're silly little goobers and Ten - the NPC Surki - is adorable. Their abilities are super rad and flavourful! My next character is absolutely gonna be a Surki. Possibily Ostilli Host? But it depends what the next party needs

The Trench Digging, are there enemies that do forced movement and also follow you as they do? If so, that would be a great scenario for it. Enemy is trying to push you somewhere by can't move as far because of the difficult terrain.
Stridulating Song, better taunt ability. Also, no Incapacitation trait.

Trench Digging is weird. So situtational. You could get an ally to trigger it for you with an ally athletics check or a spell like FriendFetch, but that's expensive.

Tunnel Roll is just a copy of an Ysoki ancestry feat.

Surki are biologically asexual in terms of reproduction. The social idea (might not be the best word) if asexual is different than that.but it's still interesting.

You get all sorts in on Kortos. It's not impossible to Imagine that the denizens would at least know what one was.
