I got these headphones and they are awesome. I have Bose and Jaybirds. These last on a charge I charge them about once every 3 days and use them alot. Use them when I'm out working in the yard or just laying on the couch. Very nice rich sound decent base. No crackle at all on high volume. Paid about 75.00 for them well worth it. No problems what so ever after over a year of everyday use
My jbl e40bt sounds good, but the highest volume isn't really loud enough. There arent any sound quality issues, it's just really not that loud enough. Is this normal for e40bt, or thee's a fix for this? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy note 4. The volume of my Sennheiser earphones is really loud. Is my e40bt defective or broken?

The bass is alright, keep in mind that Beats are revolved around their bass heaviness whereas these headphones just have well rounded sound quality along with Bluetooth.

No, you have to be hooked up in order to use the mic, at least from what I've experienced. The mic is primarily used for calls.
Is the base good? Compared to beats

Small amount. There are closed back, but still some leakage.
