@@nickc6882 The thing is that tornadoes are made by rising air (from surface to clouds) and microbursts/db are made by descending currents made by hail/rain
That was an incredible video. These can be quite powerful as well. One of these caused a Delta commercial airline to crash land in the 1980's as it was on final approach to the Dallas-Ft Worth airport in Texas, USA.
What is that I never experienced something something like that in life before. Never seen weird rain like that before. That looks so unreal. And cool see the rain in the distance falling down. I can imagine standing right under there that thing almost going to fall in your head. That's a weird thunderstorm I just watched here
Right, exactly! Also, a tornado also pulls up instead of pushing down, and dissipates by lifting back up and twisting apart at the bottom instead of disappearing from the top first and spreading outwards, you can also in rare cases get a tornado inside of a microburst.
Es un buen microburst pero en vivo e visto mejores , en mi San Juan del rio Querétaro es constante ver de estos , y son unas tormentas fantásticas aunque más seguido se ven las cumulonimbus .
Once that reached the ground, it looked like a tornado - that's what I would've assumed it was, if I'd seen it in person at that point.
I’ve always thought of Microbursts as Tornados without the rotation. It’s a rapid change of position between low warm air and high cold air.

@LisaThe Gamer it may look like, but if you look closely, Tornadoes spin and are more rapid+its cloudy around it

I second that! This needs to go in a meteorology textbook or something.

To the untrained eye and at first glance you'd think this was a tornado.
Imagine being caught under that. It was so close to him too.
What would happen?
Jay you’d be rained on lol
Jay it would be very windy and rain very hard...then it would stop after 10 minutes and you’d just be like. Wtf happened? I know from experience haha
Jay heavy rain and straight line winds
@@jeffyarvin1068 Microburst are very dangerous its even life threatening

I remember that day. It was the first time I had even heard of microbursts.
Yeah, Delta Air Lines Flight 191 on August 2nd, 1985. I wonder if it could've been prevented.
