Fun Fact in 03 I wanted to Go to the Army it's all I ever wanted growing up I went to a recruiting station. In PGH and the recruiters were busy so as I sat this Recruiter started talking to me ,I had no idea what a Marine was I had never heard of them all I knew was I loved this Recruiters Uniform I took the practice ASVAB scored a 46 He asked when I would want to ship I was 19 and ready so I said as soon as humanly possible, following Monday I took ASVAB made UT through MEPS and that week I shipped to MCRD P.I (Should point out I still hadn't asked a single question about what the Marines Were 🤣) only 3 of us From MEPS were going to the Corps the other 50 or so were the other branches ,I had no idea what I had signed up for and getting to P.I scarred the hell out of me but I never quit I never gave up somewhere along 2nd phase I decided I was either getting the Title or die Trying ..Nothing in this universe will ever AND I MEAN EVER compare to the pride I have as being a United States Marine .S.F💪
My Father wanted to have the Marine Corps Emblem on his grave marker. My Sister and her Husband were with him and they started to go on about fraternities. He looked at them and said they have theirs and that one is his. They stopped giving him a hard time after that. Semper Fi Dad. Miss you everyday.

I read somewhere, years ago, that other countries were questioned about who the most feared opponent might be. The consensus was that the U.S.Marines were the most feared over special forces and elite units. The countries feared the Marines because they were the tip of the spear with full military backing and just the beginning of what was to come. Basically, if the Marines are attacking, you are screwed cause they play tough. A very famous marine one said, "We are surrounded. That simplifies things." Think about that. He survived and retired.
