I'm guessing that this group of whales have learned this technique over many years of practice because watching all three of them swimming very close together and then BOOM! Grey and Humpback whales have a similar way of hunting by circling beneath a school of bait fish, emitting a bubble curtain that slowly closes around the school while the whales rise along with the bait ball. When the bait ball has been squeezed tightly together, the whales shoot straight up with their enormous mouths gaping open, swallowing tons of bait fish.

This isn't long hunt. And don't forget that they're basically only doing hunting, they don't have jobs or anything to attend. So they have plenty of time. Humans are often underestimate that animals have a lot of free time. I've read a story about a man climbing on the roof of a small hut, hoping that bear will leave him alone since bear can't reach the roof. But bear wasn't going anywhere. He just sat there for 2-3 days, and the man had been nearly dead, when the tribe of Evenks luckily was passing by. Evenks saved the man's life.

I'm guessing that omitting this makes people feel better about trying to stand up for something giving their life some meaning. I honestly don't know but I believe if you are truly wanting to make yourself feel better, arm yourself with as much knowledge as you can about whatever you find a passion for. It will give you both good and bad feelings which are necessary for positive outcomes. You will feel better overall.
