Benjamin Tod says more in a verse than most writers do in a career. He actually has a song about the gift himself and several song writers have called beautiful curse. Do the gemsonvhs version.
I love how much you enjoy his music. I’ve been following him for a few years and his music just hit me hard when I discovered him. I was at point in my life where I needed his music but I didn’t realize it. I’m so happy I found it. And it’s great to see you and others enjoy him like I do.

@@Mark_Bayer It’s an LG-1, the LG-2 is x braced and their sunburst is more of a tobacco finish than cherry. I had the same LG-1 but had to sell it because it needed too many repairs unfortunately
I stumbled back into 'Americana' by accident after getting laid off last year because I needed to know other people feel like I have this last year. I still love my metal but I've been stuck in MurderFolk and Bluegrass and Americana. Benjamin Tod has kept me going some days. Have you checked out, Bringing Home the Rain by The Builders and Butchers? Because if that song and Nose on the Grindstone I've taken a 14 point lead in our Music League with 2 weeks left in season 1

Love Ben- he’s helped me through some hard times. You should check out Matt Heckler- he’s friends with Ben and just put out a new album. He’s killer. Lantern song off his first album and St. Tomas off the new album are my recommendations. Also I found a new band recently that I really like and they’re from down your way- they’re called The Royal Horses. Definitely check them out. They’ve got a real neat sound.

Man Benjamin Todd is fanominal there is no doubt about it, but you have to check out Hill Country Devil. Two very similar artists that are actually good friends. Hill Country Devil just can't get traction for some reason. I know his addiction is a ongoing battle but he has been straight for a wile now. His songs "Glory", "Rats Get Fat" or "Somewhere Safe and Always Quiet" are straight up amazing. I have never had to deal with the things that he sings about but he can draw you in and make you feel every ounce of pain. Please give him a try. Cheers and keep up the great work!!!
Gotta love BT reactions. Do yourself a huge favor and check out Nicholas Ridout and Benjamin Flippo. This is the “Nick” that Benjamin refers to and Flippo is BT last name that he used to post videos as. There’s some great music with them together before Nicks suicide and gives some great context to who BT has become.

@@SongwriterReacts look on the GemsVHs channel. BT and his wife Ashley began Lost Dog with Nick and Shannon Ridout. She’s got videos on Gems as well. But the 4 of them traveled the country hopping trains and living the hobo life. The hobo tattoo (11030) on BT neck is part of that lore. It’s all really cool history that gives context.

Don AD7LL look how close the pickguard is to the edge of the body, that is one of the giveaways… on a j45 there is a much bigger gap between the pickguard and the edge of the body
@@Mark_Bayer actually a lot of j45 have a pick guard that covers nearly hole to edge. However I believe your right, I just went back looking at a few other videos of his, and it is the smaller size body. Dont know why it seemed dreadnought size to me on this vid. Thanks for the correction
