Thanks! Honestly, I didn't keep track of my hours during the foundation courses😶🌫️, I wish I had! For block one I turned in at least two assignments each week. I spent an entire day working on each of them. Block 2 (mid-Feb to Mid-March) slowed me down a lot with the proportional drawing and by me not keeping things simple with my still life paintings. One day I'd work on the proportional drawing and transfer and the next day I started to paint. Block 3 I started in May and finished in late July. I didn't over complicate my proportional drawings or still life setups this time. Plus I started painting object to object which was a real game changer for me! This was during summer so I was doing a lot of other things. I took my time with Block 4 (Aug-Nov), the paintings were more complex but there is a total of eight to complete! I spent at least an hour a day working on my assignments. Sorry for the long winded answer! I found as I progressed through the program I started to paint faster. Not over complicating things, working on a section at a time on a painting, and setting a goal of painting an hour a day really helped me have steady progress and keep from feeling burned out. I hope you do sign up for Evolve! You will learn a lot and see your art skills improve greatly!
@@Ty-1452 Yeah. A long time ago. As right now (April 2024) I'm in the middle of Block 8. Also in the process of opening an Art Academy through Kevin. A lot of work.
@jeffallen559 Wow, congrats !! I wish you great success. I just finished my 1st assignment of block 4, and honestly, I don't like direct painting. I loved the technique in Block 1 to 3, but this direct painting technique sucks a bit. I'm not sure if I will be signing up for higher Blocks.
