how do you group everything together ? every time i try and click on the whole thing it moves the letters ? at 3:32 in video you are able to moves the middle lines to include both smaller letters mine just keeps moving the letters. sorry newbie here. apparently I'm a little slow. thanks for any help you can give

Quick question! after you put the monogram in the circle and before you hit weld, you said u re grouped the letters back together how did u do that? once i put my letters in the circle and i go to weld it wont let me click the weld button, its shadowed out so i cant click on it. thanks for the video and the help!

This is an older video but the sizes are at the top and sides of the mat of whatever version of design space you're using. A ruler helps to gauge sizes with inches and width of a preheat surface.
did you have to convert the kk Monogram file to an svg file? I've downloaded it but can't get it to show up in my uploads when I go to the design space.

Hi there, I am a new cricut owner trying to learn the trade! I love the things you make and had a question you maybe can help me with! I am trying to cut a vinyl monogram that's about 2 inches x 2 inches. I'm using the "monogram KK" font and some of the lines are very thin and end up being broken by the cricut itself when cutting. Is there a way to thicken certain lines in a letter? I 've seen others print thin fonts with no problem but for some reason can't get my cricut to do so. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks for getting back with me. I was talking about the circle. I am picking the same one you did. I ungrouped them but I am finding two solid circles inside the ring of the circle, if that makes sense.

hi! i am new to cricut! i just got the machine yesterday. when you go to print, how do you get it all together like yours is in the video? whenever i go to print, it puts the circle on one page, and the letters on another page, and the letters arent in the same order i had them in when i designed, they're split up. so then when it prints, i have to actually take the circle off and put it, then by hand try to precisely place the three letters how i had them when i originally designed it. i cant find any videos on how to print all on one page, because mine splits everything up. thanks!
Select all and Attach is your friend. I know this is a month old comment but just in case you are still having problems:) I've had my machine about a month now and that was a HUGE problem of mine!

Thank you! So happy you’re here! I always know what size I want the project so based on what object I’m putting the monogram on I definitely will use a ruler to measure the size. For example I take my ruler, hold it up to the cup or whatever I’m using and visualize how big I want it. Hope that helps! xoxo

If this was video in 2015 wouldn’t it make sense to update it for the people that just bought the NEW cricut explore air 2. If the program has changed since then these videos doesn’t help me at all . They are useless to people that the new cricut.
Hi Kathy - this video is from 2015 and filmed in cricut design space version 2. In 2017 cricut released version 3 of design space so it may look a little different on your screen. To place TEXT find the big T on the left side of the screen. This opens a small text box to begin typing. To change the font select the drop down on the right side of your screen. I hope this helps. I figured it out!! When I was uploading I wasn't deleting to white space to make the B! thank you for reminding me about uploads :)

quick question, Why did you right click and Press Copy before you welded?
Ow ok, because I think im still doing something wrong, I can't seem weld the letters inside the shape correctly, every time I do the letters disappear

I had the same problem. I ended up having to you Mozilla Firefox (was using Google Chrome). Then the fonts were there.
