Greek people often know multiple languages including often Serbian Romanian or Bulgarian we're simply the most common visitors so they learn them the easiest infact I speak English and French fluently along with my native language being Serbo-Croatian as well as learning dutch (it seems like a cool language) I was gonna buy a giros and I obviously greeted them in English and than in french and tried the basics in dutch and the Greek guy just went "just ask away in Serbian" in nearly perfect Serbo-Croatian and I was baffled at the fact he didn't understand English French and dutch but understood Serbo-Croatian that was a shocker
Having been to over 20 European countries, many multiple times from Portugal to Estonia and Malta to Iceland, I can tell you that people have a high level of English in the tourism sector. It’s the world’s favourite language. Also there’s always a kid around to help What’s stopping you? Get travelling?

You might think Denmark isn’t a beautiful place because you’re from there but a lot of people across the world think it’s actually quite beautiful.
