I was stationed at Brize late 70s & we had Concorde training which just done circuits touching down & lifting off all night. What a racket, you couldn't hear your tv & ornaments would start dancing. The whole base was pissed off!
I had a tour of that base (mid to late 90’s) with the Army Cadets, learnt about the PFL which saved my ass many times while mucking about as a kid. Got the day off school for that, lol 🙂🤝
@@tildrik I meant to type PLF, lol Parachute Landing Fall, it’s the roll-out after you hit the deck, it saves your back and knees (says the nearly forty year-old with knackered back and knees, lol) 🍻
Military aircraft flight-plans are rarely in the public domain so you just have to take a chance and see what turns up, although websites like ADSB & Flightradar24 are helpful. And yes, you can take photos/videos from public land.
I like how does the video speed maked the propellers to looked as liked they are going very slower and the air crafts do looked as like they just are gliding ined withed theirs propellers feathering ined the wind only ! Very cool to watched.
@@gordy4459 I'm being for real had a typhoon pass us last year at 500ft was so loud I was in the customers house I ran out and there it was gone. Lol . Gutted
Flew on the a400 Brize ➡️ Ascension island, And back pit stop Dakar. Crazy and soooooo long, Runway being fixed in Ascention Island 🏝️ So only half a runway, So take off and landing is fun, full throttle with brakes then weeeeeee. Landing brakes as soon as you touch tarmac
Try Concorde in mid late 70s training all night. You couldn't hear your tv, everything dancing & sleeping, forget it. But the VC10s, top & best airliner ever, had many a trip in them.
@@concorde1793 That really depends on what the aircraft in question is doing. If it’s descending, it will be really quiet. If it’s climbing, it will be quite noisy. However, if it’s in a holding pattern at 3000 feet (for whatever reason) and they need to burn fuel (ie. the pilots want as much drag as possible and they extend the flaps and possibly even the landing gear) it will be very noisy indeed.
I was stationed at Brize during my RAF service, 85 to 90. Great place to live and work. Lovely shots of the planes, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the comment!
I was stationed at Brize 09 to 17. Worst station of a 30 year service.
If any where's going to be busy on a Sunday, it's Brize Norton. Happy to see the CN-235 and Aussie C-17!
I was hoping the latter would have flown over upside down (initially)
The RAAF C17 had a delivery in Poland. 😉
@@northoltflightwatch Can't imagine they'd fly any other way around - ATC must have told them!
@@AUmarcus It sure did! 😎
That last one was a pleasant surprise. Watching from Australia and seeing a Royal Australian Airforce 36 Squadron C-17 was kinda nice.
They've been doing quite a few flights like that lately, lots of kit moving downrange courtesy of the Aussies!

Would have loved to have experienced that
No doubt, I've heard they were horrendous!!
They should have been glad of the experience
Pretty magnificent footage of the arrival of the A330 MRTT Voyager, C-17A Globemaster III, A400M Atlas and others 🤩😁
What a scrumptious video of such an amazing aircraft top video chap!
Awesome video thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Nice to see, visited BZ in 2013, stayed at the Vines in Black Bourton, a beaut place.

How often do these planes land there? and what is the best time to be there? is it legal to be there shooting photos of these planes?

Good to see that they've trimmed the hedge .
Good to see the RAAF. Brinlaw now retired.
That a400m sounds great
Unless they're doing engine runs at 3am!..🤭🤭

I had this C-17 over me at 3,000 feet. REALLY LOUD

Erm don't think so....C-17's at 3000 are not really loud ?????
They are for me not knowing I haven’t seen many aircraft in my life

The last one was an Australian one 🤗
Ok it is a nice Video but it is with a Clickbait Thumbnail too
Majority have no markings?
They are all marked

Geezer, have you got any I D on you?
Where is the featured Bushmaster?
Inside the C-17
Inside the last one featured. The RAAF C-17
That's a big plane. Nice
Very big plane
Actually, in the grand scheme of things it's not big at all. The Empire State building is much bigger.
Wow their huge planes
Any need for the bogus thumbnails ?.....

Brize Norton 🇬🇧👍.
Hoping it starts delivering to Rwanda soon
Nice lookin bunch.
Nice video but that C17 is Austrian, not Australian
It can't be, it has a Kangaroo on the side!
That is Austria's national animal, the golden eagle. Its just deformed
The painters must have got the spelling wrong then.
4:49 Pause, Royal Australian
Austria does not have any C-17s…..
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😱😱😱😱😱😱
