Oii Oii Ladies, gents and teddy bears. Wow, just look how crosswinds push these heavyweights about. We’d love to hear from you, let us know which was your fave? Support our channel by clicking the LIKE button and subscribing to our channel
What a compilation! Incredible videography & footage. One would like to think those big heavies would never get blown around in those blustery crosswinds but they do. Scooshed & whooshed indeed. Fantastic, atmospheric video Ted. Ooh yeah. Thank you.
Oii Oii Margo thank you. Amazing how much power the crosswind has over a heavy aircraft. Always fascinating to watch the pilots take control so skilfully
This is a really good selsction of exterme crosswind approaches into Brize depicting how the pilots cope with such conditions. It is always part of their training aiming their aircraft in line with the runway centreline well videoed thank you very much Nikos.

This sort of landing is quite normal for pilots, I've heard. Though to us on the ground they do look terrific. How nature can mess with such large aircraft as these just epitomises natures true power. The sight of the Atlas A400 coming straight at you is spectacular. Quite simply awesome camera work. Contra rotating Props fully in your face.
The A400 is my favourite by far such a beast nice flying thanks a million Nikos and Ted lovely stream Congratulations on 51,000 subscribers wow, wow 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾
Absolutely brilliant A400M approach captured by the cinematographer here !!! Cheers! I heard a unique sounding bird late night a year ago, which turned out to be a climbing TUAF A400M likely at full power @ around 27,000' (after checking flightradar) fly over my town, on it's way back over the pond heading back home. It was quite spectacular, especially given the unusually silent low winds acoustics that night, as I recall, perhaps muffled or amplified, or something, by the light fog hovering overhead. There should arguably be at least twice the number of these A400M birds operating around today, imho... they would seem to be quite a credible package ✌🌐🔛

Beautiful seeing the C17 couldn't help it but I took a few screenshots. Ty TCS channel your differently the best aviation stream ever!! 😸🥰👍
Oii oiii glad you enjoyed
It’s amazing how strong the winds are when you think how heavy these are great pilot skills in show…..matched by the skills of Nikos capturing this 🫡
This is so true and fascinating. Remarkable to think the power of the crosswind
@@TedConingsby and you are either on top of the Ted mobile or up a ladder 😁🫡

Oii Oii Edward 🤙🏼 it is remarkable to think what wind can do for these heavies. Amazing pilot skills
Hi Ted and Nikos and Claire! Morning from Minnesota beautiful day here! Hope you’re staying dry today and hopefully tomorrow will work out better!
Oii oiii it’s been a wet start to the day and only now has the sun popped out
Don’t you point that A400 at me 🤣 Great footage Nikos, as always 👍👍
Ooohhh yeah
Those touch and goes were spectacular! Yet another side to the pilots skills caught by Ted and Nikos!
Oiii oiii Ellesee thank you very much
A great show of pilot skills.
Brize must be especially tricky landing 07 with the initial part of the runway running uphill 😮
❤
Oii Oii Dex 🤙🏼good point about 07
Well done Ted & Nikos, marvellous footage/ little compilation!
Superb piloting skills, amazing how these "big birds" still get buffed around.
Top work
I know right, amazing how much force the wind has on a heavy aircraft

Oii Oii thank you for your comment. The A400M is a wonderful aircraft
During my first viewing of this video I TOTALLY MISSED the *C-17.*
In my own defense I WAS making myself breakfast at the time...🤭
Blimey Nikos if that A400 had come in any more crooked it would have landed backwards. Brilliant video as always.
Oii Oii these were some amazing landings
Didn't know A-400 could fly sideways ! Impressive
Oii Oii Steve and Geoff. What a day this was
I'm sure that was the c17 that was in New Zealand with the Gurkha Reg on it.
Drifting in an A400M Atlas, awesome.
