The scariest part about Mulan's sacrifice was that she didn't go to be a hero. The most likely scenario would be she'd take her father's place in the army and die in battle. She was willing to lay down her life for her family and it is truly the bravest most noble that ng anyone could do.
Exactly- like the remake didn’t convey the same emotions and the same risk that she took as the original, the original was able to show so much emotion and really understand that her actions are for her father and her family and she is ready to die for her father. Newer one doesn’t show the same stuff
To add more maybe she thought it would be the only way she would bring honor to her family. She knew she was clumsy as a future bride the way she was being trained to be (the matchmaker made a fool of her before the whole village) or that she nearly spilled the beans about her father's weakness before everyone (Fa Zhu who didn't want his weakness to be shown so that he would be honorable) so she felt she would never bring him honor anyways. She would have taken the decision that dying in the battlefield would be the best shot she had...
As Horace Clocles said in the ancient Roman Republic: And how can a man or a woman die better than facing fearsome choices, defending the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his gods?
In reality there was never a person named Mulan in han china. It's a meaningless name in Chinese. This is the name of the northern nomads. Only the nomadic women who have been fighting for survival in the extreme cold climate can fight like men in war.
During this scene, there are dragon emblems everywhere. On the sword, on the walls, on the wardrobe. Mulan makes the decision to leave while sitting under the statue of the Great Dragon. I believe Mushu couldn't wake the Great Dragon because the Great Dragon had already left as Mulan.
no matter how old I get , when the music gets louder and more dramatic at the 1:05 mark , I always get chills and even tear up a bit. One if the most powerful orchestral Disney songs of all time without a doubt.
As a kid I never knew why she closed her eyes before she cut off her hair. Did she just really like her hair or something? After rewatching it more recently, I realized why it was such a big deal: once she cuts off her hair, there's no going back. Her short hair was evidence of what she intended to do. That moment of hesitance before she sliced off her hair was...golden. I fell in love with this movie all over again simply for that moment.
A bit late here. To add on to your observation, in ancient Chinese culture it was considered a grave taboo to cut one's hair unnecessarily. Ancient Chinese considered hair as a part of their body, granted by their parents and must not be simply cut. They would not cut their hair unless someone died or as a form of punishment. Mulan cutting her hair here has that extra bit of significance because as a girl she must especially keep her hair long, but to join the army she had to break the taboo.
@@lacrimosa3868 That was not considered grave taboo only in China, but also traditionally in Mongolia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam too. It's a common culture of East Asia.

ville rautiola Fa Zhou(Mulan´s father) is not a chief, just a veteran, perhaps a bit wealthy(nice house and doesnt seem to work too much but thats about it), so no. I think you might be talking about pocahontas seeing that you talk about north america, in wich case i covered her saying ruler. Ps:there are other disney main female characters not blood related to rulers, but mulan is the only one that starts and ends as a non royal(Li Shang might be influential but not royal)
DenisK21 Now that I am older and understand this movie, that line is so much darker and devastating than I thought when I first watched this 17 years ago
This scene from the movie is an example of why the live action missed the mark so much. In this original scene, you can feel that this decision will change her life. In the live action, you feel nothing
Yeah a big part is because the live broke the rule of show don't tell, also mulan had less motivation to honor her family because she wasn't an only child and was already gifted. They also had less of a loving family vibe.
Everything about this scene is amazing. When Mulan is staring at her reflection in the puddle and her parents turn the lights off and you see that EPIC look of determination in her eyes. Way to go Disney!
+Kelsey834 Fun fact; that scene wasn't originally in it. It was put in last minute because the movie had become too focused on Mushu and they needed something that really strengthened Mulan's character and made the audience egg her on and focus more on her! c: Also Mushu was originally a great big typical chinese dragon, but then they brought in Eddie Murphy to be his voice and everyone kinda went "Well he's just silly..... So we should probably make Mushu silly!" so they shrank him and made him more comical! ^-^

This song has so many feelings... In the beginning uncertainty, in the middle pure determination, and in the end dismay. And they all flow together so smoothly. The music tells a story that needs no images to be communicated. That's what makes a good soundtrack.
Manuel Orozco Yes. Very much yes. And I am not saying that because I just discovered the Princess Tutu anime last month and have been obsessed for the past month or so. I've enjoyed ballet ever since I was 5 or so. NUTCRACKER BALLET!!!
Telpenariel The Nutcracker was my first ballet when I was 14 nine years ago. I prefer musical theatre over ballet. Musicals are much more fun. Ballet however would be perfect for this scene
She had no chi, but a big heart. Her power did not come from magic, but from effort and sacrifice. She was not saved by the mithycal creature, she saved the mythical creature. Mulan (2020) saved China by defeating men. Mulan (1998) saved China by conquering herself.

Back in 2020, my twin sister found out she had to have chemo when her cancer returned. She was reluctant to cut her hair because she wanted to keep as much of it as possible. But unfortunately for her, the chemo the docs gave her to prevent it from returning and spreading was causing it to fall out. After much convincing, she finally agreed, but only in the condition that this song be played as it gets cut. Fast forward to today, she is now in full remission 3 years later.
There's just something about this piece at 1:07. It's so dramatic. Like, it carries that weight of someone going off on their own to do something they feel they must do, even if it's against the laws, the culture, whatever. Really great stuff.
Yeah but...wow. There's sometimes when you have a dramatic moment or something like this going on, and they just kinda drop the ball on it, or it isn't as impactful. But this? Good Ra, this just hits you HARD with it. And there's also NO voice acting in this part, even when she calms down the horse. It's all just beautifully and brilliantly conveyed and expressed with music. ~Tamagi
Este tema en particular es increíble. Te empapas del espíritu de lucha de la protagonista, justamente en el minuto 1:07. This song is incredible! You can feel the Mulan's fight spirit, just in 1:07 minute-

1998 Mulan: a girl that finds the courage to save her father at risk of certain death and gains the viewer's respect through hard work and perseverance 2020 Mulan: Rey, but chinese
@Plsc1994 1994 I mean, the same stuff was equally easy for Luke, so ...? The 2020 Mulan doesn't come close to stacking up to the original, though. On that, I can agree.
@@clary7404 And? Rey was getting her ass handed to her by a severely wounded Kylo who'd just fought her friend first. She was _going_ to lose if that fight carried through to a conclusion. And unlike Luke, she was established at the beginning as an experienced fighter (with a staff), yet she was still unable to hang. Honestly, I don't see the point people think they're making about Rey. Sure, she figured things out on the fly, but so did Luke. We didn't even know you could Force-grab shit until Luke just arbitrarily decided he could do it on Hoth. Luke never trained to use the Force to make intuitive shots with his fighter, but he still had no real trouble winging it with barely a nudge from Obi-Wan. It's not like Force-users figuring things out on the fly through inspiration is anything remotely new. As for the most recent trilogy in general? Yeah, it was bad, but it wasn't really because of Rey so much as because of a tug-of-war between two very different directors with very different visions ... not to mention the fact that JJ Abrams is a talentless hack. Rian Johnson at least tried to take Star Wars in a new direction, even if he did stumble at times. Still, it had (in TLJ at least) the best version of post-RotJ Luke I've ever seen, as well as some of the best lines (e.g., "Let the past die. Kill it if you have to."). So it wasn't a total loss. Or to put it another way: at least there was TLJ, because otherwise the trilogy was a total derpstorm.
@@n0wheregrrl I don't think we watched the same movie. If you are talking about TFA, she did win that fight. Kylo was on the ground after she won, and she would have finished him if the ground didn't collide. That is the only thing did not happen with that scene. The issue most people take with Rey is that, though we all agree she would have been a good fighter taking consideration of her upbringing, that alone isn't enough to justify all of her powers and abilities. She knows how to swim and navigate even though she is from a desert planet, clearly stating she never saw green or water before. She comprehends the force amazingly, and can use it even though she never trained properly. She speaks wookie, somehow, even if Jakku has no sights of wookies whatsoever. Everyone seems to like her for no reason, even the villains. The old heroes are mesmerized by her suddenly. Not to mention, they spent the entirety of the trilogy telling us that her parents do not define her, that they forgot to define her as a character. Seriously, we do not know what she fights for besides "she's good and wants to do the right thing". So yeah, as a protagonist, she is bland. People use Anakin and Luke as argument. Anakin was literally space jesus, and he had abilities, but not only did he train for years: he also lost. He lost multiple times, including to Obi Wan at the end of RoTS. Luke in the first movie didn't know how to use the force, and that's why he spends the next movie (5 years after the first one takes place, mind you) training, and still loses. Hell, even in RoTj he loses. He was saved by someone else. Rey never had a moment she struggled. Never. And, when she was in danger, that danger was the REASON something GOOD happens (Finn decides he needs to go after her and so tells the Resistance what he knows), but even then... She saves herself with no difficulty. JJ Abrams tried to fix that in RoTS, but it was too late, and everything around it was fragile. Now, don't get me wrong. You can love her character and these movies (I personally despise most things about them besides the visuals and Finn & Poe ), all you want. This is simply a friendly discussion, ok?
I think it's a shame not a lot of people mention the orchestral music in Disney films. "Mulan", "The Lion King" and "Beauty and the Beast" have some of the best music I've ever heard in film.
You guys probably already know the "Mulan was actually the Great Stone Dragon" theory, but what's interesting about is that it explains two things: why Mulan never fit to be "a perfect bride", or why she didn't join the emperor's council and went back home. She was always meant to be the protector of her family.
Honestly, this track is so powerful. You can feel energy and determination surge inside you. Everything coming into harmony. Words cannot explain. It just speaks for itself.
There is so much power and emotion in this track as well as the coordinating scene from the film, you literally feel something when she chops off her hair with that sword. I will forever adore this track as well as the Mulan film.
The Remake is an absolute insult to the original movie, complete and utter waste. This song along shows she knew if her father went he would die...yet also knew if she was ever to be found out she would die. It was a risk she was willing to make
It was not supposed to be a remake. People always get offended by that geez, the movie was supposed to be an another adaptation of the Chinese poem, not the Disney!! Yeah I didn't like the movie as much as I thought I would when I watched the trailer, but it still was pretty good. The only references to the Disney were the song and the eagle (and I might missing others stuff)
Best Disney character: she doesn't stand in a corner waiting for a guy to help her or clean the shit for seven men, but rather risks her life&honor to save her father. Also, good thing the movie doesn't focuses on a love story.
That makes it even more dramatic and courageous of her. Imagine the similar story of france. A lil lady from the countryside heard voice and fighted for the army in the name of god. That's kinda creepier than fighting to save her old father. Humans only remember what they want to. French remember the image of a girl taking the role of a man just because god told her. It's a story about girl taking power. Chinese remember the image of loving daughter, that's an image of respect for family. We see clearly the difference between two culture that has totally different values. And it's not going to be possible to make a disney about the french version, cause the value it shows are just creepy.
***** it isnt just fictional characters we like to remember certain aspects of, and it isnt always the good part of them we remember and forget the bad, the reverse happens too. the huns, for instance, often improved the lives of those they took over, often toppling corrupt governing systems and lowering crime rates, and actually they often didnt actually rule the nations, once they showed they beet them they left them to do as they wished. the real life dracula, or rather vlad tepes, had a similar mentality. most like to remember him as a war monger, when really he was a man sold as a slave as a youth who broke free and went to insane lengths to topple the people who took his land by force in the hopes he could once again bring freedom to his people. hell, sure his enemies feared him, but records actually say his people beloved him for his actions lowered crime and brought some of the greatest freedoms to his nations. (but media prefers to remember him and many others for negative propaganda, cuz the way their enemies monstracize them makes for a more fun story)
Nakumare I totally agree with everything you said, but it doesn't go against my point. Whatever we remember, bad or good, it shows somthing about our society. If Mulan is a legend today it's because she is a symbol of a girl loving her family. And if Jeane d'Arc is a legend its because she is a symbol of a girl taking power. That's two different visions of the the woman in the society.
This movie's lesson about how you don't have to be a man to do great things is ahead of its time. I love this movie, and I hope it helps little girls and boys see that we all can be a hero. After all, Mulan is using both feminine and masculine attributes to save the day!
Mulan is and forever will be my absolute favorite character and movie. Everything about this movie is amazing. From the music to the way they played everything out.

If I'm ever going to be a Father to a little girl, im gonna first show her the story of Mulan not frozen or any other Disney Princess who's happiness depends on someone else, I will show her how Mulan stood up even though the odds were against her and although she could easily die either in the battlefield or by her own people she fought nonetheless for the safety of her family and her country. She was no soldier or a Warrior but she did what was necessary because she believed it was the right thing to do. I salute every person with a character similar to Mulan's.

Emily Jones Yeah...like Snow White, how she accepted an apple from a creepy, old hag. Or how Aurora thought it was a good idea to trust a woman with horns on the side of her head and prick her finger on a glowing spindle wheel. Or how Cinderella didn't have the backbone to stand up against her step mother and sisters. Or how Ariel thought it was a splendid idea to trust a sinister, octopus lady living inside a creepy ass lair with some creepy tentacle monsters (who used to be people)and some creepy eels.
This is how I feel when I force myself out of bed everyday for work, then when I arrive at work it restarts as I'm walking to the front door waiting for my shift to start and what feels like an endless wait for it to end. My top 3 princesses would be Mulan, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel (that almighty frying pan tho)
When I think of my favorites Disney movies, this one stands out to me versus Little Mermaid or Lion King. The art style for one is so unique out of all of Disney's classics, not to mention the message and just everything about it. There are so many great scenes. Forget Frozen, I love Mulan.
Mulan is a war epic movie rather than a love story like the Little Mermaid, can't really compare it. I agree about comparing it to the Lion King, however the songs pose different heavy kind of meaning compared to Mulan. The message and the scenes, so agree with you !! nahh, Frozen don't even compare.

Mulan: I should never have left home. Mushu: Come on, you went to save your father’s life. Who knew you’d end up shaming him and disgracing your ancestors and losing all your friends? You know, you just gotta learn to let these things go. Mulan: Maybe I didn’t go for my father. Maybe what I really wanted was to prove I could do things right, so when I looked in the mirror, I’d see someone worthwhile. But I was wrong. I see nothing. *goes on to save China and brings honor to her family directly from the emperor himself* I think it’s safe to say she really wasn’t wrong. We do see someone worthwhile
Can't help but have tears falling out of my eyes when 1:08 shows up, very powerful and touching moment in the movie. Mulan will always be the best Disney princess in my eyes!
You can recognize a great scene when characters express their feelings and decision through images, musics and no dialogue. 2D animated Mulan gave me more expression and feelings when she gazes in the pond then pray her ancestors while the music plays than many real actors in movies
Now thar I'm much older this movie makes me cry. When she comes back and her father tells her how proud he is of her it makes my heart pound and cry My mom used to cry to that scene cause she was a marine and my grandfather was proud of her too.
So yesterday my mom was about to cut my hair and I'm one of those guys that doesn't like hair cuts, So while she started cutting I played this song she inmediatly reconized it and just said "You're such a drama queen at times you know..." hahaha thanks for posting the song yo!
When this song kicks I have goose bumps all over. It was like that when I was a kid and now as an adult. I always felt the courage of Mulan and how her desicion is something life changing and I always admired that. This movie might be my favourite Disney movie of all time. Treasure Planet is a close second.
One of my favorite things about this track is 0:42 where the flute comes in, and it sounds like something crying. It reflects Mulan's fear of what will happen to her father so well.
My favorite moment of this scene (and maybe of the whole movie) is when she looks at her father sleeping, and softly smiles at him. She knows she probably won't be back. She knows her father loves her, despite their different opinions. She knows she loves him, and she want to show him that her place in the world is where those beliefs will bring her.
I miss my childhood so much.... grew up on these movies Stuff like Frozen or Tangled is cool and all, and classics like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty are incontestably masterpieces, but the era of Disney from The Little Mermaid through to Tarzan is unbeatable Yeah. Nostalgia definitely blinds me a little bit. But these movies were so special
Nostalgia definitely makes me favor these movies more as well. People will ask me about my opinions on old vs new Disney, and I think the only real reason I go with old is because these are the movies, the songs, the stories, the characters I grew up with. Every time I watch them or hear their music I have a weird urge to cry from the nostalgic feeling. Tarzan, Mulan, Aladdin, and Treasure Planet will always be my all-time favorites.

ville rautiola Fa Zhou(Mulan´s father) is not a chief, just a veteran, perhaps a bit wealthy(nice house and doesnt seem to work too much but thats about it), so no. I think you might be talking about pocahontas seeing that you talk about north america, in wich case i covered her saying ruler.
Ps:there are other disney main female characters not blood related to rulers, but mulan is the only one that starts and ends as a non royal(Li Shang might be influential but not royal)
Mother: You must go after her! She could be killed!
Father: If I reveal her... she WILL be.

This scene from the movie is an example of why the live action missed the mark so much. In this original scene, you can feel that this decision will change her life. In the live action, you feel nothing
Yeah😕😕... concuerdo con el desconocido 👍
I was like "Yeah... here comes the good thing"
And then she rides her horse and leaves.
"Is... that all?"
Yeah a big part is because the live broke the rule of show don't tell, also mulan had less motivation to honor her family because she wasn't an only child and was already gifted. They also had less of a loving family vibe.
apparently they just wanted to make the movie more "mature" and seem more realistic by taking the disney out of it...
This is why this movie is one of the greatest disney movies. The emotion we all can relate is there...
Everything about this scene is amazing. When Mulan is staring at her reflection in the puddle and her parents turn the lights off and you see that EPIC look of determination in her eyes. Way to go Disney!
+Clarissatx89 And that reflection as she draws the sword....
Dayum! That really sent a chill down my back.
+Clarissatx89 not to mention she was actually sitting underneath the Great Stone Dragon when she made her decision.
+Kelsey834 That look, at least to me, is the single bravest moment of an Disney character ever.
+CompletelyNewguy my theory of why the great stone dragon could not be awakened by mushu is because its spirit went into mulan in that scene
+Kelsey834 Fun fact; that scene wasn't originally in it. It was put in last minute because the movie had become too focused on Mushu and they needed something that really strengthened Mulan's character and made the audience egg her on and focus more on her! c:
Also Mushu was originally a great big typical chinese dragon, but then they brought in Eddie Murphy to be his voice and everyone kinda went "Well he's just silly..... So we should probably make Mushu silly!" so they shrank him and made him more comical! ^-^

--《木兰辞》(From the ancient Chinese epic, The Mulan Song)
The Mulan Song is a required study article in Chinese middle school. Every chinese read it, know it and some can recite it. Listen to the song while reading this quote literately made me cry.
By the way, the end of the Mulan`s story (according to the epic), is like what showed in the cartoon , Mulan was not punished, but rewarded by the emperor, while she gently refused all offers and returned home to her parents, married and continued her life as a peasant.

2020 Mulan: Rey, but chinese
I like Rey but.. that 2020's Mulan is not like her
@Plsc1994 1994 I mean, the same stuff was equally easy for Luke, so ...?
The 2020 Mulan doesn't come close to stacking up to the original, though. On that, I can agree.
@@n0wheregrrl... Luke lost. Multiple times!

***** too bad i heard in the original story mulan was executed after they found her out to be a female.

At least they get the chance to slow down by just inviting him to dinner at the end of the film instead of getting married right off the bat. ;)
In honor of the real Fa Mulan-- whose glory and justice were robbed from her despite her immense contribution to her country. Rest in Peace. ❤
Hearing the build-up and then boom! 1:05 the music is just awe-inspiring and 20 years later still giving chills down your spine. 🎼
Jerry Goldsmith is a genius.
Delwin Mennati Thanks...?
=O nooo he was so great
Damn straight he was great!
Sounds like the kinda music to get ready for a test
I'm using it for that right now !
Test of covid? Xd
This is how I feel when I force myself out of bed everyday for work, then when I arrive at work it restarts as I'm walking to the front door waiting for my shift to start and what feels like an endless wait for it to end.
My top 3 princesses would be Mulan, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel (that almighty frying pan tho)
xGOKAI SILVERx Yesssssss
All but Rapunzel, I would replace her with Esmeralda.
The message and the scenes, so agree with you !! nahh, Frozen don't even compare.
got so energized just listening to this gem of a soundtrack. Its amazing how a single soundtrack encompasses so many emotions in one go! Disney, you ROCK!
This song motivates me to study when I have to be awake all night, with all that pressure. Nothing motivates me more than this song
169 dislikes? They must be the Huns.
hahahaha
Hahahaha
438 now still counting
and Shan Yu
How can it be, she killed *ALL* of them...
Mulan -Disney's most badass princess. Along with Merida.
Jasmine Dubois Is Hercules really a Disney Princess movie?
technically it should be because zeus was king of the gods, making hercules a prince and meg a princess, however she's often not included in the canon princess because it didnt make as much money as the other disney princess films.
Ximena Parsons I liked Meg.
Jasmine Dubois same
I thought Mulan wasn't a princess since she married a general's son. I'm not hating I still love her!
People with bad taste on music be like:
"You like Disney's movies/songs/music? That is so childish..."
Ikr
I LOVE Disney
I tell those people to go listen to this song. LOL. This song still gives me the chills after so long. And I love it. This is going to be weird but I meditate to this song too >>,
Totally... like some Disney Movies were actually for kids!! hahaha
Me too :) I guess most people who had a great childhood does!!
*goes on to save China and brings honor to her family directly from the emperor himself*
I think it’s safe to say she really wasn’t wrong. We do see someone worthwhile
There's nothing I like more than a woman who has a reason to fight.
Can't help but have tears falling out of my eyes when 1:08 shows up, very powerful and touching moment in the movie. Mulan will always be the best Disney princess in my eyes!
This scene in the movie alone is enough to make me both cry and smile at the same time. It was _POWERFUL_
When she comes back and her father tells her how proud he is of her it makes my heart pound and cry
My mom used to cry to that scene cause she was a marine and my grandfather was proud of her too.
1:05 : I'm crying :'(
I can comprehend as well
we're two...i always dreamed of being Mulan :')
So yesterday my mom was about to cut my hair and I'm one of those guys that doesn't like hair cuts, So while she started cutting I played this song she inmediatly reconized it and just said "You're such a drama queen at times you know..." hahaha thanks for posting the song yo!
ElectroWings lmao 😂
LOL
can remember going to see Mulan at the cinema when it was first released. Definitely the most underrated Disney film of all.
1:07 when you step in the class room for finals like.
AngelLove890 😂
1:08 gives me chills every time...this song is so amazing! Best instrumental in the entire soundtrack.
The animated Mulan is way more empowering than the live-action Mulan could ever wish to be...
And Anna and Elsa, don't forget that!
When this song kicks I have goose bumps all over. It was like that when I was a kid and now as an adult. I always felt the courage of Mulan and how her desicion is something life changing and I always admired that.
This movie might be my favourite Disney movie of all time. Treasure Planet is a close second.
The only time i cried watching a Disney princess movie. Utterly touching.
I FINALLY FOUND IT. My whole life I have thought about this song - it gives me chills every time i hear it in the movie, AND I FINALLY FOUND IT
does anyone else workout to the mulan soundtrack but me? no?... ok. well, carry on.
Yeah but I keep it on a low volume so the bold meat heads don't look at me funny lol.
I just did
will do now, especially when running an extra mile on that dreadful treadmill at Good Life!
I work out to every Disney animated film soundtrack.
Haha I usually work out to the Hunchback Soundtrack
One of my favorite things about this track is 0:42 where the flute comes in, and it sounds like something crying. It reflects Mulan's fear of what will happen to her father so well.
My favorite moment of this scene (and maybe of the whole movie) is when she looks at her father sleeping, and softly smiles at him.
She knows she probably won't be back.
She knows her father loves her, despite their different opinions.
She knows she loves him, and she want to show him that her place in the world is where those beliefs will bring her.
I miss my childhood so much.... grew up on these movies
Stuff like Frozen or Tangled is cool and all, and classics like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty are incontestably masterpieces, but the era of Disney from The Little Mermaid through to Tarzan is unbeatable
Yeah. Nostalgia definitely blinds me a little bit. But these movies were so special
+zingodoom Agreed, but the Princess and the Frog was also exceptional
Nostalgia definitely makes me favor these movies more as well. People will ask me about my opinions on old vs new Disney, and I think the only real reason I go with old is because these are the movies, the songs, the stories, the characters I grew up with. Every time I watch them or hear their music I have a weird urge to cry from the nostalgic feeling.
Tarzan, Mulan, Aladdin, and Treasure Planet will always be my all-time favorites.
Honestly, I'd say Renaissance Disney was definitely superior as far as story and character development went compared to Golden or Silver Age.
You mean little mermaid to lilo and stitch.
@@havenspringer No. I meant what I typed. The Disney Renaissance is generally defined as lasting from 1989-1999. Lilo and Stitch was released in 2002, making it part of the Disney Post-Renaissance which is generally defined as 2000-2008
1:39 is like actually one of the best parts of the movie. The underplaying tones in there are so monumental. You know that something major just happened without seeing the screen
5 seconds in and I'm already having a goosebumps. Masterpiece
You are either:
A.) Someone who has banged their head to this at least once before
B.) A goddamned liar
