Charge of the light brigade actually refers to a historical event in the Krim war. The british light brigade was ordered to bring back stolen cannons from the russians which seemed to be a suicidal mission but eventually worked out because the russians were too surprised about the stupidity of the manouver. I just recently found out about this in a german history podcast and didnt even know there was a yugioh card with that name. Thought id share it for anyone interested :)

I remember having like 5 trap holes back in the day. i just started to collect again after having it on my mind for the past few years. while everyone is hyped about pokemon cards, yugioh were the real deal for me as a kid. i just bought 4 boosters of Ancient Guardian yesterday. 2 more today + 2x genesis impact and 2x blazing vortex. i got my first secret rare today even though im fairly new to the different types of rares and all - i'm feeling this childhood nostalgia opening those again.

My favorite is Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon from the retro pack, I love Blue eyes cards so its a no brainer for me.

EDIT: It's also nice hearing your commentary on the grading process and your thoughts on card conditions. I was a hardcore MTG player up until last summer, and I was also a stickler about card condition haha

That Tri Horned is super unique even though it’s a 5, but Dark Paladin always takes the cake for me!

Those were awesome! Definitely my favorite in that batch was the ghost red eyes. One of the best cards they ever printed. We need that in the TCG.
The "Jinzo" and "Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon are really neat, but ghost rare "Black Rose Dragon" gets my like.

As a fav Card i can't only choose one, dark paladín, summoned skull, Black skull dragón, the "envoy of the" duo(secret and ultra ones) ,jinzo, the Black rose and rainbow ghost...man, gorgeous collection.
I can't decide which one I liked most but some of my favourites are the stamped Tri-Horned Dragon, the Dark Necrofear and Dark Paladin. Chaos Emperor and BLS are obviously super nostalic.
You can never go wrong with Trap Hole - awesome card!

I have to say my favorite psa card you have besides the Red Eyes is the crimped Tri Horned. I always love "misprints" like that
THs brings back so many memories. My brother had a Jinzo and a Dark Necrofear in his deck. Possibly they were 1st Edt. Awesome videos, keep them coming!

To this day, Dark Necrofear is one of my favorite cards, but I always feel like it had so much potential that just went unused. When I first seen this card, I thought it was going to set up fiend decks to be super competitive.

Hard to say my favorite card from these... maybe Summoned Skull, Jinzo and the two IOC Envoys are the best for me. You should totally get a PSA10 1st ed Pequeno by the way

You should send that tri-horn to bgs, they will put the error cripped, and wont count it as damage.

Still WAY too cheap though. The market cap for trading cards is still tiny compared to similar investments like Bitcoin, gold, and fine arts.
I live outside the U.S and it would be a serious pain to ship anything out, let a lone cards for grading. Got back into the game a little over a year after about a decade so starting from scratch and I have nothing, IMO, worth grading. Your PSA 10 Goddess of Whim reminded me that I want to try and get some OCG card which are uncensored for the collection and that's one I want. Great collection overall, it does make me want to really invest in collecting.

Love to see these. With the trap hole, currently it’s estimated to be similar to black hole. With regards of a lower rating such as psa9, the prices are completely apart. Looking around 300 for trap while dark hole I’ve seen at 500+

Limited edition cards are severely undervalued. They’re the promos everyone remembers as a kid and the pops are super low because they all got destroyed
