#kubota #loader Digging a ditch with my Kubota BX tractor to help drain water off my property. Clearing overgrowth with the loader and digging with the FEL! #digging #drainage
FYI: I plan to make a few series of videos on this area of my land.. Clearing all the overgrowth and grading that hill so you guys can see the progress. Also don’t forget I’ll have some stump bucket videos coming again soon too
Thanks it’s good to be back! I missed hearing from all of you. Always a good feeling seeing all the familiar names back in the comments section. Hope you had a great weekend!
Hey buddy, just a suggestion. Now that you have that trench, put some non woven geo tech in that trench, fill it up with 3/4 stone on top of the geo tech you’ll never have a water problem again. Good job as always. 👍👍
Thanks Eric! It’s great to be back. Love seeing all the familiar names in the comment section too! I’ll try to get another video out soon for you guys!
I live in Pennsylvania. I recently bought a kioti tractor and am clearing my land also. That rear ballast really gives you the traction to bulldoze. Good work
Hi Dave! You’re not too far from me only living in PA! I travel to Erie PA at least once a year! Your right about the rear ballast, I tell people ALL the time what an absolute necessity it is on these small sub compact and compact tractors.. it really transforms them into a true tractor with the added weight and helps drive all that power into the ground so you can actually use it! Thanks for watching!
Glad to see you back! Your vids helped me out a bunch with operating my 1025r. Damned if I can get my FEL to cut/scrape dirt as easy as you make it. If you could do detailed vid on that it'd rock.
Thanks buddy! My father actually has a 1023e and so does his buddy (both machines Iv had on my channel quite a few times now.. good machines! I will certainly get to a video where I break down my steps and process for using the FEL. In the meantime you may want to check out the video I made called “Biffs video review” where I review an old video of mine and break down what I was doing with the loader and why. Hopefully that will help explain some!
just put a 3rd function valve on my bx 25d backhoe and bought a grapple what a game changer thanks for video from a few years ago you did on how to install great kit from summit
Hey that’s great to hear! Having a grapple is a game changer for a tractor so I’m not surprised how impressed you are! I was the same way when I first got my grapple and was blown away with the amount of work I could do and how quickly I could get it done with the grapple. I have many videos using the grapple as well ..a long with a property cleanup job I did for a customer near the shoreline after a storm. You’d like that one! As for the summit 3rd function, I still feel it’s the BEST 3rd function money can buy for the bx.. and I have to this day not had a SINGLE issue with it! It’s held up like a champ and Iv had the hydraulics smoking hot more than a few times ! 😅
Hi Mike. I have a bx 23s with backhoe didn't think I would use it much boy was I wrong. It digs down about 5 1/2 feet . Might want to look for a used backhoe attachment for yours ???????? cheaper than a excavator. Glad to see you back on you tube.
That’s a good idea Trevor! I may have to do that at some point.. maybe next time I get a load of stone I’ll get some for a French drain. Thanks for watching!
Time to get a mini excavator to play around and make different video with. it's boring to see the Kubota BX after so many videos. (sany16c, takeuchi tb225, or larger model)👍

Good to see your making videos more frequently again my friend.

Nice Vid!
Thanks Mac!
You could fill the ditch with larger rocks mate, like a french drain save it clogging up in the future.

Sure would be nice man. Some day I’ll get some more equipment. I do have a forklift but that’s pretty useless in the dirt 😂
