I don’t think the diet is that expensive. It’s only expensive if you have a picky eater. For instance my female Kimberley will not eat crickets, so I have to buy grasshoppers which can be pricey . A good way to cut down on food expenses is to learn to breed some of your own insects such as roaches and grasshoppers. Since I’m taking care of multiple animals I really couldn’t tell you what it costs to feed one individual. Also I suggest buying bulk insects online, buying crickets from a pet store chain is more expensive.
