@Ryan Ferguson Canva has updated so some of its feature have a different appearance, but I was still able to maneuver my way around and follow your guidance. I wish I could show 👀 you what I accomplished.
Thank you. I had to enable the Chrome WebGL extension in order to access it in Canva; otherwise, it doesn't show up. Much appreciated because I have Canva Pro and do not have to use another service!
Nice Tut... I looked and looked on Canva (Pro) and could not fine the "Effects" button. Finally, out of ideas, I clicked "Edit Image" and in that section were the smart mockup.. getting ready to try my first one now..
Smart Mockups does not show if you do not have the Chrome WebGL extension enabled. Once you enable it, the Smart Mockups appear under Effects (look under Edit Image).

Great .. But I have problem when I try to use flip horizontally feature , for RTL Arabic language we read from right side , so when I clock flip horizontally the text also rotate like you put it on mirror , I don't know how I can flip it to the right and keep the text correct .

Canva has a "Canvas 6" mockup that might pass as a landscape book. Otherwise I think your best bet might be Place It. It's a paid option but reasonable pricing and they have a handful of landscape book mockups. Yellow Images has one as well but it looks like they're a bit more expensive. If you don't like any of those then I see a bunch of vendors on Fiverr that offer landscape book mockups for a good price.
wow this is great vid, i wish Canva would put more and not hardcover, and spine option... shame it's so poor options right now, considering how good is Canva otherwise. I tried this other real complicated software and then i forgot how to do it and couldn't find any vid that would help me relearn... it's amazing how difficult it is to easily do this considering how many millions of books are being created now.
@Comprehensible Language - Learn Chinese yeah i forget what i did now... that's the thing w my tech work, so much things to learn, i forget it real quick... try to do it in my free time, but i feel like it's hard to restart anything cos i always forget stuff... and many new stuff to learn... anyway i am using GrooveFunnels and they have some good detailed instructions ... now I got sick from overwork and lack sleep, but I am trying to learn to apply myself in my free time even despite these issues

Great job. Looks simple enough when you're using that type of Canvas. I can't find book mockups in my mobile app
Update: March 2022: The EFFECTS menu is gone. Click the photo to select. Then click EDIT IMAGE and SCROLL DOWN to Smart Mock Ups. Then click ALL.

It looks like this feature has now been removed. So sad.
Sadly they have changed it all and you can't get just that book alone image anymore, it all comes with backgrounds already. Such a shame.
