H+n pellets all the way, been using them for thirty years field target trophy shoot fantastic in my hw100 in 22 and in 177 in the ultra, absolutely cracking pellets. That gun of yours shoots the baracuda well mind you it seems to shoot everything well

What happened to this pellet ? It changed 2 times in 1 year and then discontinued in 2022 . Seems like they had something pretty good in the first run but had bad control and the change in thickness made the grouping really bad .

I have got a HW100 in .177 and I use H&N and use Baracuda Match for target practice and Baracuda Hunter Extreme a little more heavy pellet for hunting, I do not have to alter point of aim either and have used them for about 10 years and highly recommend them.

Thanks. The Sniper Medium did quite well I thought, but I knew the Baracuda Match would do well from previous tests. The Sniper pellets also come in a Sniper Light and Sniper Magnum, so I may well try those in the future to see how they perform.

I have the concept single shot and elite in .177 and although not regulated it gives pretty good consistency with many pellets however the JSB & Daystate HEAVY 10.3gr are the most accurate.
The Concept single shot .22 version loves the sniper in both light and medium but is more accurate with AA field beyond 30m.
After seeing the consistency with the regulator I think it would make my single shot even better than what it is.

Yes, my pellet findings are the same. Don't know about you, but locally my pellet suppliers seem to have run out of most JSB and Daystate pellets. Not sure if it's down to manufacturing shortages or lead shortages. Very strange. Even on websites such as J S Ramsbottom they have run out of all the well known pellet

I'm fortunate got two local airgun shops and both had the JSB's in, but can I hell's like get hold of the daystates, which I'm just about out of and are just better than the JSB's out to around 70m. I've half tin of daystates and 5 tins JSB so alright for now.
Tried the JSB express .177 in the 7.4gr through the single shot and was shocked at the grouping how tight it was at 50m compared to the 8.4gr which looked as though they had been fired out of a shotgun.
Tried the hades and great out to 25m in .177 then loosen up so just use on rats out to 20m, where as the hades in .22 are great out to 60m.

@@mikepattinson3285 You can buy them direct from Daystate, but I think you have to buy about 10 at a time. You'll have to check them out online, although I think prices have gone up. At the end of the day they are made by JSB to Daystates specs.

I knew the Baracuda Match would do well based on previoius tests, but the Sniper Medium are new to me. I know they come in different weights and sizes, so they may all behave differently. I will see how they do on the range out further.
As for the stock I had to buy one because the old one split. I had just regulated it, so had to go the whole hog, but in the end it turned out OK.

Never really rated the H&N pellets until I came across the Baracuda FT ( .177 ) I use them solely in the Brocock sniper hr , quite accurate and more importantly , fit the magazine perfectly .. yes , the 10.65 are id say the biz mags re-labelled and are ( particularly ) good in the R10 .. I must say the baracudas in your brocock are superbly accurate , id be more then happy with your results , so much so , I think id by a round of drinks down the local boozer ... well ...... maybe not

My friend I can't remember how long to get the best from your reg

you may find the Robert Lane reg works that little bit better
I seem to remember a conversation with Robert about it
    I may be wrong
I have fitted 3 robbet lane regs and I am very happy with them
Have you had a go of a 99 in 22 yet springer
And plz have a go at shooting a coke can in 1/2 hanging from some string
See how meny shots you can do it in
    20yds I did it 26 shots
    With 22
A friend has dune it 16 shots 10yds in
Hope it of some help (si)
