I’ve always wondered why Isadora’s CON is only at 6. She’s a royal knight. We can assume she probably went through YEARS of training to get to that point and we can also assume she would have built up quite a bit of body mass. It’s just weird imo.
Orichalcos AMV Maker IS loves smol girls. You will laugh if you see Fa's (Fae's) Con in FE6, luckily her divine dragonstone doesn't have any Wt. Isadora is a giant when you put her beside Fa.
thesiaoz That is true. But it doesn’t make sense. I know Fae’s CON is low but that makes sense(i mean she’s a baby dragon) but still... with Isadora it doesn’t make any sense at all.
Orichalcos AMV Maker Yeah, Isadora's con is ridiculously low. If anything it should be 8. She's like, mid to late 20s and mounted yet her con is the same as Blade Lord Lyn who is ~18 and not dismounted. EDIT: It's probably for her to have 14 aid to match the other Paladins but that just proves that female mounted aid being calculated differently from male mounted aid is super dumb.
ltranc exactly! If Isadora had like 2 more CON she could’ve been one of the greatest units in the game.... but sadly that isn’t the case. Like, I understand why Florina would have low CON. She’s a small girl after all... but for IS to give Isadora such a low CON stat has no excuse.
It's simple. For some reason female mounted units have less Aid than the male ones. The calculation goes as follows: For unmounted units Aid= Con+1 For male mounted units Aid= 25-Con For female mounted units Aid=20-Con So in order for the female mounted units to have the same Aid value, and thus be able to rescue the same amount of units, as the male ones, they need to have less Con. That's why Isadora and every Pegasus girl in existance have to suffer with such low Constitution. I still don't know why the developers decided to make it that way.
Isadora is like a Swordmaster, who traded the extra crit for a horse, and total control over the weapon triangle, and actual 1-2 range options. A very good trade if you ask me.
Her Con is honestly not a big problem at all, she's still naturaly fast enough to double most enemies she faces, and it's not like Swordmasters have a high Con value anyway.
thesiaoz Well, as far as I can remember, Rath have some pretty good stats. And it's not like he have much competition for Orion's Bolt either (and he joins very close to bein able to promote too). His only issue is the fact that he's locked to the dreadful bow-sword combination.
Isadora: "Lobs crit on Jerme's face". Jerme: Ouch!!!! Ha you couldn't even kill me with that one!!! Isadora: "Procedds to lob the second crit". Jerme: Oww fuck my life.
I would argue here that Con is near irrelevant and that High Speed compensates for it but I can't, the Con of female unit is usually 2 or 1 point less than that of male units since she is a paladin we can assume she went through the same training as Marcus and since she is a pre-promote her con should be somewhere around 9 or 10 especially since she will primarily use lances.
Not really, she still performs decently, just not enough on these solo chapters which are a treat to watch but most of the time nobody does that so she is pretty good at combat and I'm not joking.
@@Hanesboi I know she's capable. It's just if her job is to protect the queen, she will most likely get replaced due to that low health. She's not stopping anything. She could probably take down one unit with an iron weapon. She requires expensive weapons to perform well but then even that just screws her speed.
Just because a unit's AS is Base speed minus something doesnt make them automatically slow, her durability is fine too she survives well enough and she already has high base speed tell me what it matters for her to use a Javelin oh her speed goes down to 11 buuut! Enemies in her joining chapter are all using reaver weapons so they get slowed down just enough so that she still doubles them and this hapens like all the time so she does fine, speed is always more important because she always has the potential to use her high speed while slow units with high con never have the chance to use a more lightweight weapon to double many more enemies like Isadora
Oddly, I've never seen Isadora's sprite in combat. Just goes to show how memorable of a character or unit she is that I used basically every other cavalier over her
Isadora with axes sounds like a joke, but I find that she is one of the best users of the Devil Axe due to her naturally high luck. Granted, her AS gets tanked to near zero when she uses it, but hey, at least her axe rank will grow super fast.
I honestly feel like no doubling with devil axe is a good thing because the hardest thing that hit back on you accurately is probably yourself when the backfire can happen 2 times in a row so who knows
Wow, I hadn't actually seen Isadora's Con until now. Just. Wow. It's... Nino is one Body Ring away from having the same (base) Con! And it makes sense with her, magic is (relatively) light! WTH Isadora!?
What a spectacular performance! Thank goodness for that critical. It almost came down to the wire! Isadora, I think is a great unit, I think of her as the paladin version of Nina, seriously Nino is a boys name! She's extremely delicate and tricky to get used to using which didn't bother me as I like a challenge! But in time and careful planning she becomes a fantastic unit! In my very last through to this game, I made her quite the Badass with an S in swords. I was very proud because, she's is one of the most underated less used characters in the game! I wanted to see what she was capable of, and she did not disappoint. Her Con. Being so small reminds me of myself and my music group! It's funny actually because as much training and exercise I get a daily basis, I still remain the same size overall! I'm proficient in using most swords even the heavier ones like the Claymore and Zweihander, I'm best with, is the Rapier, Sabre and Katana, personal favorite, class of swords. Though the heavier ones weigh me down of course, that doesn't mean I can't clean house when it comes to it! I do like the Con logic in these FE games as it makes a lot of sense in reality in how heavier weapons used can weigh and slow you down. I'm definitely going to look into the Advanced War Series as if it's alot like FE like you mentioned. It seems very interesting! Ah, another long rant! My apologies! Thanks for these videos you do, they are so much fun and entertaining to look at as well as, inspirational! Stand by for my comment on your recent uploaded zero growth series. I won't make it long like this one. It's just so exciting! Lol
Totally gonna start calling Nino Nina lolll Anyway Advance Wars is a wonderful game where you do have similar gameplay, but (THANK GOODNESS) you don't have to soft reset when your tank gets destroyed because you can always grab a new one. It's much more balanced (because your units can't arena grind) and CO system is better than, do we even have anything here, tactician's birth month? Pfft. Lame. Do you want someone who has strong planes? Pick Eagle. Would you like to catch your nemesis off guard and attack them first? Go with Adder. Or are you just looking for sheer power of units? Hawke is your choice. Also AW Artillery is much better than FE Archer, AW ships are much better than FE pirates and basically everything else goes like this. There are no javelins and magic nor artillery counterattacks, but that makes you develop a better strategy than placing Marcus with a Spear in the front knowing everyone goes down. Also fog of war is much better in wars than it is in FE. The only problem is that there are three good AW games but if you're like me you'll spend at least 50 hours of life in each one! Tell me if you've started. I want a buddy to contemplate CO value with!
If you've seen her stats and weapon levels, you can see that she is S-ranked in axes. Carrying the Regal Sword and Rex Hasta would be wasting needed space.
Juhani Aho She required RNG to give her criticals against the dragon even with Basilikos' high Mt. If I gave her Rex Hasta or Regal Blade, she will require even more criticals in order to win. Do note that she is still able to double with Basilikos against the dragon, this is the main reason why I let her use axes instead.

Isadora should have lucky con 7. It would match unpromoted Eliwood which I see as somewhat sensible. 7 con also matches Ursula. Even though she is a Knight and all, her job was basically to be Elenora's protector-companion, maybe they gave her that job because she was considered too small for full regular military duties (along with having a woman escort the Lady of the house making sense).

RandalfElVikingo I think it's just that people don't really like her powers when it comes to PVE. In dual strike, Sonja+Kanbei is simply broken, to the point I think it's even better than Colin+Sasha.
