Probably to get the pronunciation right
It’s pretty common in broadcasting to spell things phonetically on teleprompters(whatever helps the person speaking to say the word correctly) over spelling things the right way. It’s super common in broadcasting journalism even, especially for names of people and places.

I'm a scouser, and I've walked them streets a thousand times but somehow seeing Liverpool here it looks all exciting and new, think they cleaned it up proper for Eurovision, It's normally got a gang of seagulls smoking spliffs and stealing Big Macs but it looks nice here tho maybe its just the joy of seeing you queens there that make it shine 😊.

Same. The chorus is fun to sing along to but I'm honestly already tired of the song in general. There's nothing in it really. The lyrics are super vanilla, the majority of the song is chorus, the verses are a few lines of filler two times.. It's not outstanding in any way shape or form. I don't fully get it lol.

Lol - Romania was so sad. Watching it on TV - we FELT that lack of response quite deeply. Iceland was so sad too. The whole Crossfit vibe was so off.
