This video is just what I needed to bring me "Back to Center." It is so easy to get off balance in the busyness of life, this video reminds me what is important. I always think of the times that my wife and I go camping and enjoy a heart-warming fire and good food, and good fellowship. Thank you for bringing back to my memory those times that money cannot buy.....good times, good food and good friends, that's what is most important in this short life that we are blessed with.

Thank you Brother #Tom at #CimbrerbushcraftVikingheritage , I enjoyed the over night very much my friend . Only thing better would to be able to do it myself . I have many places I could camp , But just not able to walk good enough to get around anymore . Back in the 70's we would float the creeks and camp sometimes for a week at a time . What I would not give to be young again , Or at least have a good body again . LOL , Thank you Brother for allowing us to come a long with you on your overnighter . Stay safe out there Brother , There are people all around us dropping like flys . That C. crap is really hitting hard right now . I just try to stay at home myself . Outstanding Viking Overnighter. The Veal, Creamed Mushrooms, and cabbage made my mouth water. Your Fire Set worked perfectly as did you newly designed knife and hatchets. Very informative with some new hardware, and educational. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. My Cholesterol went up 100 points just looking at the Bacon. Your fire set is light, small, but very effective and efficient. The color of your coffee looked just right. Wish I was there. Looks like you and Martin had a good day and a great overnight. I was especially studying your clothing. Lately, I have visited Grimfrost trying to decide which style of trousers, which choice of cloth, Hedeby shoes with or without rubber sole reinforcements, and the like. Linen is great for summer and the woolen wrap coat is the item to have for cool nights and mornings.

Everything from gathering and processing the firewood, making fire old school style, picking wild mushrooms and cooking a delicious meal was mutual cooperation all the way. Well, "Tom" I am most disappointed😞, all that lovely food and beer and I did not get an invitation, what am I to think?
The veal looks beautiful the lettuce maybe a touch overdone for me but the mushrooms and cream delicious, all in all a banquet for two (could have been three🤣)
A great day out my mate, when I did some archery many years ago, I always placed the arrow to the right of my bow I never tried the left, I suppose it may be so you can lay the bow cross ways without losing the arrow but still, good shooting from you both.

That video was awesome Tom, and the food looked really good especially the wild mushrooms with the cream sauce. I tried the salt in the coffee to help tame the bitterness, I think I put too much in, but I still drank it. I'll try less next time. Keep making the great content that would make our ancestors proud.
