Cheap ticket is just that a cheap ticket. Ben got her right. He could have adjusted her flight and paid the adjustment. But this was not about money, it was about discipline and priority. Once he put her on that cheap flight she woke up and realized he was not a pushover and it likely made her see that other people's time is important. Karli needed that.

You dont have to repurchase you pay a small reschedule fee. To transfer to another airline is much more costly. Financially it doesn't make sense.
