    Good choice to make the tarps for the baskets. Im in the Finnish Defence Force and am a Gunner/loader in the NL version of this tank. We also have shaped tarps on the back baskets so it was good call and looks very good. one thing this kit sort of gets wrong though is that the front tow hooks are usually flipped downwards when not in use but even thats a bit nitpicking. Looks fantastic, good job!

    Would love to see you do a 2 part series. To keep in line with the modern era, build a Meng Bradley with full interior. You could do part 1 interior paint/built and then part 2 exterior paint/build.

    My favorite Tamiya kit hands down! The grill is sublime and is better IMHO than thePE equivalents even in MENG's 2A4/A7.variants which I personally consider to be the best currently available.

    Great video. Just some constructive criticism, fade the music in and out, instead of just muting it and starting it so abruptly. It didn't sound very smooth, and it was also a tad loud compared to your voice from time to time. Anyways, love your choice of music, I think it really fits the nice harmonic mood you get into while building these things :) Keep up the great work!

    Thanks for all your videos. I have been building armor since the 1970's and I go to you whenever some of the kit's instructions are hosed and I check to see what you might have done. With that said, I have a question on your paint, especially when you are painting the camo. Do you lighten your paint (prior to weathering). I have tried the Nato colors from Tamiya, AK, and a few others but they always seem darker than yours. Your Tamiya NATO Brown looks similar to ModelMaster leather (which I like) compared to mine which is darker. The green also is a lighter shade, almost as if the sun has lightened it. I spent 34 years in the Army on tanks and you pretty much hit the mark on your NATO colors.

    Hi, 'Andy'...
    Just several observations I saw in your post of the 'Tamiya' Leo2A6...
    Seeing those road wheels assembly and fitting out on the suspension bars While Using 'Tam' support beam Does make a BIG Difference...there have been a Few times, where MY road wheels (of the past) don't "hit the dirt". I like to glue those suspension bars from the Inside of the "tub" of the tank and let it set with that support beam for a day....Question: Are there TWO (2) of those beams??
    -Nice sliding driver hatch, but I LOVE that grill work on 'Tam' Leo2 for the fans....that DOES look Very Nice = No PE
    - AHHHH, da barrel.... "extra coat of black" (??) is that the Primer??
    - GOOD Point on that "flap' on top of the barrel....I glue a similar object (don't remember What kit), but it was suppose to open/close.... {Always important to dry-fit..fellas!!!}
    - Interesting..... you painting the "Flat Black of the undersides, as well as, the wheels..........Ahhh, I see what you did with the barrel....Question: What size needle for the airbrush, (just curious).
    - ***** Those Two (2) yellow subtitles, REALLY Do Help ME ( kinda wish I saw this again as I was painting my AVLB ) + Lower Pressure (check), - 90degree angle (not check )
    - Didn't think you could "paint" those vinyl tracks....Thanks for showing ....... Question: Could you "play" with those tracks...(have the tracks move) After applying the weathering?? { I have a couple of newphews that LOVE to "Play" with a couple of my tanks, but W/O the weathering }
    Thanks for reading All of this....hope you can answer a few of my questions.
    GREAT Looking TANK!!!

    Hi Andy, thanks for this great video. I am also working on the RC version of this beast and are starting to think about how to do the camo airbrush. Since I am a complete newbie to airbrush (only tried once on a Leopard A4), I would appreciate greatly if you can help me out a bit here. I see that you first airbrushed a layer of NATO black on the skirt and gun barrel. May I inquire what is the purpose of doing that? Is it part of the weathering process? Since don’t think I am ready for doing heavy-weight weathering work, is it necessary to do that part? Also, as a novice to three-color scheme, should I use pencil to sketch out the boundries of these 3 colors? Thanks for any input!

    Hey Andy, you should make a diorama of operation desert storm *ahem* thunder, yeah desert thunder. Like there is a long line of M1A2 Abrams, rolling across the sands, and approaching a Iraqi stronghold or something like that, you know, like maybe add in a couple of other countries, such as the Germans (leopards) Russians, T-90s or like T-55s
