Sir, It was an excellent session on Budget. Thanks for that. I have a small query sir - As per the rule, Govt cannot increase the tax without passing a statutory law in the parliament know sir then how come new taxes have been introduced like virtual assets ? Since Govt will pass the bill in future does it stand valid or for introduction of taxes, Govt has the authority sir ?
FM has just announced. It will be applicable post passing of finance bill in march.
Yes government propose bill
For Such purpose finance bill is passed{finance bill is part of Budgetary process} & after the passing of finance bill such changes will be applicable.
Having watched your lecture, I realised there is nothing to mug up, besides, making budget very easy you told which thing is important with respect to our preparation or which not. If only I can take your coaching.
An inter-ministerial committee headed by finance secretary Subhash Chandra Garg in 2019 recommended introduction of digital currency and ban on crypto currency.

SC Garg Committee for suggestions. The committee recommended banning cryptocurrencies and allow an official digital currency. Further, the committee also drafted a bill Banning of Cryptocurrency & Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill.
