Spent practically my entire childhood in a canoe on the River of Turtles which is what Loxahatchee means in the Seminole tongue. My Dad was a Park Ranger and our house was inside Jonathan Dickenson State Park. My first job was working at the concession stand and canoe docks. Good times. 🙂
