Giving my boyfriend my HighCountry now and buying a 2020 this baby its so beautiful Chevrolet makes beautiful classy trucks. I'm in love with the new black and saddle interior and the exterior is beautiful as well
Man, I know people hate the looks, but I'm just happy that Chevy finally decides to put led front turn signal lights... It looks so good.
Who hates the looks? The trucks looks have improved ten fold over the out going model with its square fender wells

I like the High Country video but I would have like to see more about the suspension. When my previous silverrado 2004 extended cab with 6.5 ft bed hit a bump, the truck would go up and down once and stop. The 2019 High Country will go up and down 3 or four times before settling out. The suspension adjustments touring, sport, off road and trailing does not change the response magnitude or cycle before settling out. How does the suspension setting change the response time and magnitude? Roland Roberge

Thank you for your videos you helping me understand with all this excellent technology. The reason I bought Chevrolet again and again because the durability and Quality they last long time. I have the other Chevy over fifteen years and keep going. I have proof and evidence to prove and is a really. Chevy and GMC last longer than anything else out there 👍🤗😊💪👌🤝

Just a word of caution - the new 2019 Silverado-Sierra twins can’t be ordered or does Not come with the power brake and foot pedal adjuster. This is normally a pretty standard option for most trucks (GM, Ram, Ford)...I own a 2017 Silverado, but some “bean counter” within GM axed this very useful feature......why?

I purchased a new black 2019 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss 2 weeks ago. But i can't figure out how the DFM works on this new truck because it doesn't show anywhere in the dash. On the previous model (2018 or 2017), it shows V4 and V8 in the dash when drive on highway. If anyone know, please help!

Yeah that brown interior looks much better. But it does look nice outside but the interior looks outdated compare to the Ram which looks amazing and is the new standard.

Ram spent all of their money in the interior, Chevy spent their money on making it a better truck.

Great review. Love the exterior color. Next time yall review a GM product, please check the climate control and let me know if there is a bi level vent setting-the setting that allows you to split the air coming out of the system between the dash vents and the floor. I dont see that setting on the controls.

I really wish trim levels people actually buy would be reviewed. High Country = $60K-$70K. How about the Work Truck, Custom Trail Boss, or an LT?
We might review some of those trims eventually but most of the lower trims have not entered into production yet (LT+ right now)
The one thing that bothers me is that blank middle switch directly below the infotainment screen. It’s on all trims including this fully loaded High Country and the Denali! Is there an option that will fill it?
rockerdriver that blank switch might be for Hill Decent Control, which comes with the Z71 off road package. My 2015 Silverado has it

It is an option, but the market is moving to shorter beds for crew cab.

Trucks are expensive these days. My friend is looking for a bare bones 3-5 year old used truck in good condition with a bench seat and pushrod NA v8 in the 10K range. But, its quite hard to find them. Do you have any suggestions for buying a truck on budget ?
Buy a new one keep it 4 or 5 years and trade to new, you'll be shocked.
Every year 1500 trucks are worth more then a diesel truck. Might as well get a diesel truck.

What do you mean by padded plastic? Do you mean that the plastic has leather on it?
Padded plastic is a premium textured version of plastic. It's injected with a padding so when touched it's soft.

It's still all about plastic, their just using nicer soft touch plastic and durable hard plastics over cheap ones, and some leather here and there. Ram did the leather everywhere but, mechanically it's still a Chrysler.

Eh, I wouldn't spend the money, I'd just get an RST if I wanted a Chevy, High Country is a piss poor trim compared to the other luxury trims, even the Denali. Also can we please ask GM to make their trim levels easier to remember? Seriously like how TF am I supposed to Know if an RST is higher than an LTZ unless I've studied Chevy Trims.
