I bought mine in April 2022. Not the most powerful or with the best screen, but it is still a really great tablet. It has fantastic AKG tuned,-Atmos sound and a smooth battery-less S-pen. Writing recognition is 99% accurate. I'm impressed. I almost bought the more expensive FE model. No regrets.
@@kartavya9085 ... If you have extra cash then buy the S7 as it has better screen resolution and a few other features. Otherwise, if it's just for regular use get an S6 lite. Samsung is still supporting it. I've just got a software update for my S6 lite.
Thanks for your critism it's very helpful for people who wanna buy the tablet. Where I'm located it's a tad bit epensive due to tax but about 20usd more then I can buy it. I'm still torn between the ipad, samsung, and mi pad though. Ipad has better longevity but more expensive as you have to buy the pen separately and the mi pad is more powerful hardware wise but the pen and software can be a hit or miss (pen has wobbly lines and needs bluetooth to work).
The iPad is twice the price, but will last 3-4 times longer than any other tablets. You save more money with iPad if you hold onto to it for a long time.
@@raiaey if you focus more on drawing and straight not wobbly lines I think Samsung is for that, if you want a more media consumption/gaming device xiaomi pad 5 is surperior, the pen on the xiaomi pad 5 is questionable though, I seen videos where the xiaomi stylus broke and will not work so they have to get it replaced.
I got one last year and I still use it heavily till now! Its amazing for a budget tablet also as a student and an artist, but my picky ass just wants a bit more bigger screen and an apple pencil 😩 But the S6 Lite is a monster in itself !
@@NickN18 hi! i replace it whenever i notice it wearing down to the point where taking it out would be difficult;; so i monitor it frequently to check!
@@nikki4783 hi! do samsung stores sell replacements? im anxious since im going to use the tab mostly for notetaking and i heard spen nibs are easy to wear. thanks!
@@kimmadline9802 hello!! oh man, i havent tried going to a samsung store for a nib replacement;; im not entirely sure if they sell them separately or if they have to install it themselves :( but yes, they do wear off quite easily but what i did was i bought spare plastic nibs specifically for the s6 lite stylus and change them myself! there are lots of tutorials on how to do it and dont worry about destroying it, ive been doing it since i bought it last year and i havent encountered a single issue ^U^
That's a good question! I don't think that it will become obsolete any time soon, as it's still receiving software updates and security patches, so no worries.
What about reading? And taking notes whle reading/learning. laptop is too heavy to hold and read. Watching movies also better on tablet as you can sit or lay down and watch....Watching sport stream too...
Separately doing these activities is a pleasure, but, as I mentioned in the video, it is hard to read something and take notes simultaneously due to the smaller screen. 😕 Media consumption is a joy as well.
I can't tell you anything for the mi pad since I haven't had the chance to use it, but when it comes to the iPad, it is a bit more expensive considering that you have to purchase the Apple pencil separately. Also, I didn't like the feel of the plastic pen on the glass, whereas the S-Pen has the rubber tip which makes it a much more natural feel. However, what is true is that the iPad has more and better optimized apps for drawing and note taking than the Tab. So, really, there a lot of pros and cons, but I think that the Tab is a more rounded up device, more affordable, and the Samsung Dex feature makes it more of a laptop than the iPad. Hope that all helps 😅
For the price of the 128gb version vs iPad for similar storage, I felt the s6 lite was the better deal as a college student in nursing on a budget.

Absolutely! It is amazing for note-taking and drawing if you need. Good luck with your studies!
Should i use tempered glass with tablet or not?
You can for extra protection, but not mandatory. Thx for the comment!

Have you try it as a secondary screen on your laptop? 🤔
No, I haven't as I don't know that I can connect it with my laptop in that way. At least not without buying additional cables and adapters.
@@arko_tech try superdisplay, you just use the cable included on the box, the app and the superdisplay driver in your pc

You are right! Thanks for reminding me.
There's a new version of this tablet.
Do you recommend to buy it or no?
Yes, especially for drawing, reading, and taking notes. As a laptop replacement, no. Cheers and consider subbing!
Why are there so many cuts in editing on this video?? Like every 2 or 3 seconds. Very irritating to watch.
