    Looks good and easy! Question as a nurse : which insulin meter do you recommend that I can check my insulin levels? Are all of them accurate? Thanks in advance.

      It might be hard for her to give medical advice. My son is type 1. I don't think he's had a problem with any of the ones he's bought. Maybe if you check Amazon you can read the reviews & get an idea which one's are the highest rated. Good Luck!

      I really don't have any experience with home meters. I have only used the ones at the hospital I would ask my primary care doctor if they have one they recommend or you could ask your local Pharmacist. From what I heard most of them are pretty accurate. Best of luck to you💚

    Yes, I would love to see more budget friendly recipes. I can't wait to try this one...maybe for supper tonight. I'm lucky to live close to an Aldi and went there this morning. I had planned to shop at Aldi and then Hy-Vee, but by the time I finished at Aldi, I didn't need to go to Hy-Vee except I need red cabbage and fresh kale on the stalk and not chopped in a bag that Aldi had. I got a whole bunch of essential veggies and fruit for $101. Same stuff would've cost way more at Hy-Vee. Dh bought a bag of big red grapefruit that averaged out to $1 per grapefruit versus Hy-Vee that was selling not so great smaller grapefruit for $1.50 a piece. I love Aldi. Save tons on the oatmeal, raisins, frozen and fresh veggies (oh, 1 bunch of cilantro for .75 vs. .99 at other stores), and frozen fruit. Bought 2 different kinds of mushrooms also, so can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks again for all of your yummy, easy recipes!

      Yes Aldi's has some amazing deals. I always start there, then if I need to I go to Trader Joe's or Food for less. With the prices of food now we have to save where we can. Thank you so much for watching my video💚

    Dear Debbie, I am watching all of your videos, old and recent ones and I must say that I Iove l your creativity especially when using the air fryier that I have bought after seeing your crunchy recipes.
    I have a question about how to manage being ft orced to eat in restaurants for three days. I'll have to forget about wfpb

      Thank you so much! Eating in restaurants can be a challenge sometimes. but it's possible to keep it WFPB. You may get a bit of oil but that's okay for a few days. Check out the menus before you go. Ask if they have any vegan options and ask if they can make it without oil. Most restaurants will have salads just ask for lemon for the dressing. You can get veggies and rice or potatoes. You can also just ask for sides like grilled veggies and you can add that to salad. You will have options you just have to be creative. Best of luck💚

    You are married to a carnivore, right? Me too. I think it is difficult and timeconsuming to cook two different dinners every day. How do you manage that?

      I don't cook two different meals. If he wants meat then he makes it himself. But he loves everything I make and really doesn't eat as much meat as he used to. We respect each others way of eating. It has taken time but he is slowly coming around.

    the plant based proteins will help you produce in young children, thinner bones, leaner muscle mass, Shorter height. Yeah, plant based protein is good for you, and it will over time slender you down.

      @@ChewonVegan I read several good scientific studies on plant protein and the amount of digestibility, the body may actually only process 60% of the plant protein, aka amino acids, the study was very interesting, yet I do think it was biased toward animal protein digestibility as well. But people inherit their light bones and lean muscle mass from a vegetarian/vegan diet. Unlike the larger boned people of the north seas eating fish and fowl and venison more in their diets.

      @@melinaz3385 Sorry don't agree at all. And if they were talking more about animal protein then yes I would believe that. I have actually built more bone mass since being plant based for the last almost 11 years and have plenty of muscle mass. What are "good scientific studies" I would love a link to them so I could read them myself and who funded those studies. I choose to follow Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Neil Barnard just to name a few. You can check them out and the studies they reference.
