100% agree - people come to Vegas for the sights and sounds of the place, no one comes to Vegas for the hotel room. So it just makes sense to get the cheapest room you can afford.
I completely agree with your hotel assessment. It makes totals sense to stay in the less expensive room if you have access to the exact same amenities. That is what we do when we go on cruises. We ask ourselves how much "awake' time do you really spend in the room/cabin. It's surprisingly not much, even on sea days.
Such a level headed review. Great series on Resorts World! I stayed at the Conrad using Amex FHR almost a year ago but it was February so didn't get the pool experience. Looks like Hilton it is if I stay there again since FHR is Crockfords now.
Yeah, I think I'm going to give Resorts World a shot at making the repertoire of hotels I stay at in Vegas - high-end restaurant and bar options are critical for me. Now it's just a matter of bouncing from the Bellagio to the Palazzo to the Wynn to Resorts World lol. I'm not blowing smoke at you when I tell you your vids on RW are the best out there, I never got a real feel for the place until now. Excellent work!
Bellagio is cool. Palazzo is cool. Wynn is amazing for activites & dining (never stayed there) Resorts is underrated. How the newest property that cost over 4 billion dollars can be underrated, is beyond me. Stayed there last year. Booking in a couple weeks. Def check it out. Their Famous Food eats is def worth the trip (even if you don't stay there. Don't let some of theyelp reviews fool you. A lot of them are from when they first opened, it was a shit show lol)
i completely agree and would definitely stay at hilton myself if choosing between the 3. however, i just booked my trip for next year and hilton and conrad was literally exact same price, while crockfords was double. so i went with conrad. great videos thanks for making it :)
Main difference for all three properties is if you are a Hilton Honors member and the level that you are at. The best overall property for Diamond members is definitely Conrad. You receive a larger amount for complimentary food and beverage than what you receive from Hilton as well as complimentary/discounted show passes from the concierge. This may include a few other perks here and there.
@@peterkapusi5882 The food and beverage credit is $25.00 per person at Conrad and Crockfords, maximum occupancy of 2 people. Even if there is just one person staying in the room, make sure your reservation states two people so you get $50.00 total.
Great reviews, thanks for the honesty and candour - keep it up! (Totally agree on the Hilton, we got a cracking deal for Labor Day weekend this year, less than £120 a night plus resort fee.))
Your camera work is great. You do a really good job on reviewing these hotels and restaurants. It gives me a great idea of what I want to try out when I get to Vegas.
I just looked it up crockford's is almost 300 bucks a night right now in Las vegas. That's insane. I've noticed too with the wealthy hotels you actually get less. Like for example I could stay in an embassy suites for $150 a night and at least get and all you can eat breakfast buffet. Or I could go to the Bahamas and spend a hundred bucks a night at the Grand lucayan and get all inclusive. I don't know why but America really misses the boat with not having any real all-inclusive.
Crockfords shines with their suites in my opinion. True room service, top notch concierge, and free valet are some of the other reasons I will continue to stay at Crockfords over the other hotels.
I agree with your order. I can’t address Crockfords but I’ve stayed at Hilton and Conrad all over the country and there is not a lot of difference between them. Ive always been a Wynn / Encore fan but want to check out RW. I am hoping to go to RW in the spring so this was great info. Thanks James!
We stayed there in October 2022, we booked a Hilton room for my sons and a king room fir me and my wife, when we arrived they told us they don’t have a King room available yet, they gave us a $75 comp for dinner. Long story short, after them telling us later that evening they they still didn’t have a King room, later that night the desk clerk gave us a 60th floor suite room , made our stay even more special! When you go past the Encore on the strip then Resorts World us definitely the best place to be on that end (so far) , no reason to even go next door to Circus Circus. I would definitely stay there again…
Thank you for all the videos! I haven't been to vegas since 2013, when I was a broke kid just out of college. Stayed at the Imperial Palace with a buddy and each paid $15 per night. Going back to Vegas in 1 month! Staying at the Venetian this time. Many of your videos have shaped my upcoming trip and have given me a clear path to what restaurants I want to try and where I want to go!
If it help anyone: I found the Conrad to be just right - often it’s only around $2-300 more but honestly the room is much bigger. It’s the best of both worlds. Probably my new favourite spot in Vegas!
Me and my wife stood there, we never left.. It was so fun Dj was jammin all night and the Gaspi lounge was also cracking. Great food. New York pizza open till 3 A.M. stay at anyone. If you’re all about staying in the room, don’t go to Vegas. We will continue to stay there.
I noticed that. The upgrade in the hotels don’t deliver more. The rooms at Encore were life-changing. I’ll never forget that trip. I’m looking forward to the restaurants at RW and Hilton does look like a good value, at least for now. I hope the prices stay down. Hilton looks like a good value for Vegas on the whole. Wynn has the same access to the whole property but the pools over at Encore, but the Encore rooms are an incredible upgrade.
If you love luxury the Crockfords is the way to go and the prices to me wasn't that expensive, it depends on the type of stay you are comfortable with having. I enjoyed the private lounge at the Crockfords and was able to meet a few celebrities and a politician when I went there so to each their own. The room is pretty, the in room spa was relaxing.
Stayed last week at the Hilton RW is amazing. Will stay again. Parking is also FREE!!!! Cool if you drive in or if you have friends that want to meet up and hang out.
Big note for people there for work or conferences-the Hilton has no in room coffee makers (or indeed any way to make water hotter than the shower) if you don't want to wait in the gigantic line for overpriced Stsrbucks. Also, the Hilton has extremely terrible housekeeping service if you aren't out of the room by 9am. Four days in a row we left at 9:30, told several people (housekeepers, front desk, concierge, whoever you speak to on the phone) to change the towels and take out the trash (making the bed would be nice but the other parts were critical) and only one day did anyone show up before a second call at 5pm got someone to come by at 10pm. They say it will get done, but essentially your room will never be cleaned unless it happens during the normal housekeeping hours (which for our room was Far Too Early)
THAT SAID for the price difference, after the first couple of days I just stopped by a thrift store and got a $5 coffee machine for the end of our stay. Love that I don't have to bring a food/beverage cooler, but didn't expect to have to bring a coffee machine!
It seems that NOT reviewing the suites at Conrad miss the point of the different levels. If you are only comparing the cheapest room at each hotel, then of course the higher tiers are going to seem lacking.
I've always loved Hilton's outside of Las Vegas, especially San Diego, so I'm not totally surprised by your ratings. A little extra luxury is nice now and then though also!
If you are sharing with a platonic friend, I think Conrad is the way to go. You get the double sinks and bigger room for only a little more (my reservation was $30/night more). But Crockfords is too big of a price jump.
Would never pay cash to stay at the Crockfords. That said, every October my wife and I stay here for When We Were Young. We are Hilton Diamond members for context. Year 1 we stayed on the Crockfords side and got an upgraded to a suite. Year 2 we stayed on the Conrad side and our "upgrade" was to get moved to a higher floor. Your mileage may vary, but it feels like if you're diamond a Crockfords reservation may get you better taken care of. Either way, both years stayed on points and felt good to be the rich emos and not staying at Circus Circus. 😂
I believe there are none for Hilton at this property, Conrad and Crockford do have suites though, but their suites are not ultra luxury or high end compare to Cosmo, Aria, Wynn, or even MGM grand
Nice ranking. I stayed via a comp (+$90 Fee) at Conrad last August for two nights. I had a choice from the Hilton or Conrad and chose the Conrad. In two nights I had 3 SNAFU’s that really got to me. I’m a Hilton guy but haven’t traveled on business for a very long time. But I keep my HHonors alive. So, I got prompted to do online check in and pick my room from the offered maps. I picked a very high room that looked slightly larger and was near the elevator bank. 5PM check in, I arrived about 4 and my room wasn’t ready so I killed time sipping a juice at the Starbucks. 5 came and no room. 6 came and no room, so I headed to the front desk. They of course helped me with a room on a low floor. I said I requested a high floor. He typed on his keyboard and found a room mid-tower not near the elevator. I accepted as I was getting tired of waiting. I went to the room and it looked fine. BTW tech specs say the TV is a 65” and the Hilton is a 55”. Both large but not the same. As I put away some of my clothes in the drawers below the TV one of them was broken and derailed. Almost landed on my foot, almost. At this point I didn’t care, enough of schlepping and waiting. Never even reported it. Staying for two nights meant one experience with housekeeping. The next day I left just before lunch time and saw the maid carts one section down and I left the hang tag (so 80’s) on my door to request it be cleaned. It wasn’t a do not disturb tag, a clean the room tag. I had lunch in the Hawker Court, good and played in the casino, not so good. I had dinner with family so I went back to the room to freshen up figuring it had to be cleaned by 4pm. Nope. No workers and the room as I left it with the tag on the door. I called housekeeping before I left for dinner and complained that it had not been cleaned and I was going out. It was cleaned when I returned. The small TP room on the roller was still there with no new roll to compensate. A peeve of mine. And another strike on a mediocre at best experience in my first stay at a High End Hilton. That massage gun in the Crockfords is a germ magnet and I would not touch it unless it was in a sealed bag claiming total disinfection. I have another comp for mid December. If I plan a trip I might give them one more try but have other comps without fees that I might value more.
I hope really read this through…: I’ve been a little uneasy about staying at RW and my gut feeling has been confirmed with this post. I’m sure you can get treated much better and your roomed cleaned much faster at other beautiful properties on the strip. Especially if you have better pros than cons on your other compd offers from other properties. Thanks for sharing
The rooms are very nice and new and the Zoouk nightclub is a great spot but the rest of the hotel does feel like a massive east coast mega mall, the restaurants are coming along too, it's a good place to spend a night, maybe two max, also the location north of the strip means your a little far removed from some of the other spots, I still much prefer Wynn or Encore eventhough the North end of the strip is seeing new life and will eventually become the new mid strip once FB mega resort opens up.
Definitely got that shopping mall vibe in the area by the globe. That's the drawback for me that doesn't give it that luxury feel. But this series has me planning on going back to check out the restaurants and bars I haven't been to yet.
I dont really care for resorts world, I only go for Mrs. Meows and that taco truck that's outside... fun fact: only way you can get a free drink is to put $20 in a machine with a minimum $2 bet. (A green light comes on after 5min of active play letting the bartender know.)
Was going to book this hotel for my bday in January but honestly sooo many of the reviews were not good. Many along the lines of “a hotel in a mall” “no general theme really random” “walking by many empty ballrooms to get to room” “just ok vibe wouldn’t stay again” idk how to feel about this hotel but I think I’ll pass.
Thanks for your review, will definitely pay the cheapest to stay at Hilton at this location, the rooms at all 3 brands look identical to each other, same with the bathrooms, no tubs at all at Conrad and Crockford are quite disappointing, does it even have bathrobe and slippers at Conrad and Crockford ? I do see they don't even have the Conrad signature stuff animal and rubber duck compare to other Conrads
Was there last week can confirm the bathrobes and the slippers(individually wrapped)in the Conrad are the same as the Loews, but the price was the same per night so went with the Conrad instead. NO signature animals except at the sundry
We just stayed here for 3 days. If you are a sports guy, buy a beer at the convenience store for $8 instead of $16 in the sports bar (tip your waitress anyway). Hit the Peppermill across the street.
Honestly, I've watched enough of your reviews to discern your philosophy in making these rankings and that you make a concerted effort to juxtapose your own personal preferences from the bigger picture...............that I'm not the least bit shocked you placed Hilton at #1. And I'm inclined to agree for the most part. While I was certainly wowed by the marble-dripping shower and dual vanity in the Crockfords room as well as the hotel lobby and hallways................with the exception of the room and guest elevators, I could just stop by the Crockfords lobby and hang out at their bar for a while anyway if I wanted to (and I definitely will check out). And like you said in your Crockfords review, their exclusive pool was actually one of the more underwhelming pools on-site and the superior pools can be accessed by guests in all three resorts. So in my mind there is still a sizable chasm between the Wynn/Encore, probably the Venetian/Palazzo as well...............and the Resorts World Crockfords.............when it comes to what-you-pay-versus-what-you-get. The Crockfords room definitely looks nice, but Encore's adults-only pool mops the floor with their exclusive pool. Granted I don't know what the Crockfords' spa and fitness center look like, but I also can't imagine they quite compare to Wynn/Encore's either. And I also don't know how the Crockfords' guest service/housekeeping/room service compares either admittedly, but again when Hilton and Conrad guests have access to most of the same amenities as Crockfords guests...............I agree the current pricing point at two-to-two-and-a-half times Hilton and Conrad's rates isn't quite justified. Great content as always, James, and presumably I can't wait to see your overall trip cost rundown, hahahahaha! 😉🙂
For a place that has maybe the best spa in Vegas. Why so much of the rest fails is anyone's guess. Not worth staying though as 100% agree on that part.
Biggest scam with RW is their massive devaluation of Hilton points. 80k a night for basic room with a cash price of $130 ish…. when Waldorf Astoria has 80k with a $450-$550 a night cash price. If you are a Amex Hilton honors member this is a waste of points, better to pay the cash price and get the Gold/ Diamond upgrade. Cool vibe and nice pool/ eating options but as a Hilton member I don't think I would burn any points here.
Interesting feedback on Hilton vs. Conrad. I've only stayed at Conrad there twice. Is there a difference for any food and beverage credits at the different hotels? On my recent stay at Conrad, loved my room. It came with a $35 food and beverage credit. Does that change at the other properties?
Fantastic! Thank you so much for this review, it was exactly the information I was looking for! 💃🏼 🪩 How about Zouk, is that walkable from Hilton? Trying to understand where Zouk is if I stayed at Hilton ❤
I thought they were A$$holes at Crockfords. You can't arrive at their door...they make you unload at Conrads and walk over. You only get the tea at check in if you are Asian. Their morning coffee bar is very sad. I had to ask for the souvenir key. As a Hilton Diamond I had to go head to head with the desk snott to get an hour later check out. I picked my room on my app, but was given a lower room (but it had a strip view-so that was ok). Never picked my room before and had it changed. They didn't credit my bill for the breakfast credit, so had to call when I got home. Their gym is the bomb. Haven't tried their spa yet..I would like to. Their pool was meh. But you have a lot of pools to choose from. Going back to Conrads for New Years Eve. I had the points and they had a place. Just glad to have a nice place for New Years and they do put off a good fireworks show! Have reservations for Alle 66 and that marvelous view!
During Summer and prime weekends the difference between Conrad and Hilton is much more than a few dollars a night. Sometimes the rates are nearly double.... On occasion I have seen the rates be close, and if was that was the rule instead of the exception, I'd be rating Conrad at #1.
Many things I can comment on, carpets are dirty needs shampooing, valet not great, my first approach, valet guys wanted demanding $35 right away to get my car in cash tip! Insane, had a free room reserved, Spanish rip off lady wants me to pay $29 more, to change it from king to queen, they make up stories your room is not avail they give you another for $29 ready to go, as part of their toke making it’s a hustle they pull everyday and it adds up to $1000s for them
Extremely useful info. I just cancelled my 5 night Crockford reservation and rebooked at Hilton, saving $950. Thanks man, I mean it.
I only stay at crockford.
Crockford is different level of the hotel. I had great stay there
how much was one night in hilton? and how much at crockford?
Stayed at all 3 multiple times.
1- conrad
2- crockford
3- hilton
100% agree - people come to Vegas for the sights and sounds of the place, no one comes to Vegas for the hotel room. So it just makes sense to get the cheapest room you can afford.
Nah. I want something nice. If i just want basic, I would stay in Fremont.
I was at RW three weeks ago...sure it is fancy but totally feels like a regular shopping mall

I dont really care for resorts world, I only go for Mrs. Meows and that taco truck that's outside... fun fact: only way you can get a free drink is to put $20 in a machine with a minimum $2 bet. (A green light comes on after 5min of active play letting the bartender know.)
The vibe is nice and modern, not scetchy old las-Vegas-y
Love the channel 😊
Crockfords shines when you use Amex FHR.
Definitely the Hilton if I ever stay here, unless Conrad offers a crazy price slashing for a day.
You have to get a suite with a tub to get the rubber ducky.
Two words that separates Crockfords from the others... 'Room Service' ... The others don't have it.
Resort World is really nice - less congestion.
We just stayed here for 3 days. If you are a sports guy, buy a beer at the convenience store for $8 instead of $16 in the sports bar (tip your waitress anyway). Hit the Peppermill across the street.
Any secret to getting the Hilton Suite? Can't find it on their listing anymore. Heard they moved them over to being under conrad,
Honestly, I've watched enough of your reviews to discern your philosophy in making these rankings and that you make a concerted effort to juxtapose your own personal preferences from the bigger picture...............that I'm not the least bit shocked you placed Hilton at #1.
great review thank you
For a place that has maybe the best spa in Vegas. Why so much of the rest fails is anyone's guess. Not worth staying though as 100% agree on that part.
Thanks 👍 so helpful ☺️♥️!
Great review. Thank you.
Are the main entrance and registration on same side of building one place to enter?
Any deals out there currently? Trying to book for December but it's like 500 to 700 a night.
Hilton is $470 for 3 nights and Conrad is $500 for 3 nights. I have to pick Conrad due to duel vanity and larger room.
Thank you for sharing ❤️
Biggest scam with RW is their massive devaluation of Hilton points. 80k a night for basic room with a cash price of $130 ish…. when Waldorf Astoria has 80k with a $450-$550 a night cash price.
If you are a Amex Hilton honors member this is a waste of points, better to pay the cash price and get the Gold/ Diamond upgrade.
Cool vibe and nice pool/ eating options but as a Hilton member I don't think I would burn any points here.
Do you really have access to all pools? My last information was that there are differences.
You can go to any pool.
great hotel review.
I’m arriving in Vegas today hope to meet you
Infinity "D" Mirror FTW!!
Love this video, shows that you are looking out for your viewers by considering the bang for your buck
Thanks for the advice. ❤
So if the price were equal, would you go Crockfords, Conrad, Hilton?
Cockfords room is more like Conrad in the Philippines. Conrad in the Philippines have the auto blinds the room setup that chair and the walls
No TUB! 😫
I agree Conrad should be number 3
Thanks!
You stayed in Vegas for 10 nights?! Bro, how the hell are you still alive?!
The luggage hold under the TV was poorly thought out. Not a great idea Conrad to be looking at underwear while you try and relax and watch some TV.
Figures I just booked conrad
I've stayed at them all and I'd never pay more for resorts world than Wynn. Wynn is much better
Fantastic! Thank you so much for this review, it was exactly the information I was looking for! 💃🏼 🪩 How about Zouk, is that walkable from Hilton? Trying to understand where Zouk is if I stayed at Hilton ❤
I prefer Conrad
100
That place is a mega mall with hotel and a bunch of over price Restaurants on the far end of the Vegas strip.
Far end of the strip...lol..it's across from wynn/encore
🎉🎉🎉🎉
It's a indoor mall
😊
To me, Resorts World is sterile. Like a CVS store but with slots, a food court and a magic ball
I just stayed there and hated it. There are far better choices.
Ummm, that massage gun is definitely gonna be used only as a massage gun😳
Why does it say, DO NOT STAY HERE, on the cover page?
So you can watch his video and find out why lol
It’s really expensive for meh rooms
But Conrad has the best value among the three with just a few bucks more than Hilton
During Summer and prime weekends the difference between Conrad and Hilton is much more than a few dollars a night. Sometimes the rates are nearly double....
On occasion I have seen the rates be close, and if was that was the rule instead of the exception, I'd be rating Conrad at #1.
Disagree. Hilton was a disappointment. Small room. Conrad was way better.
