1969 I went to see the Movie. I love music while listening to the background of the movie, I realized that was human voices performing to make it so unique. Nothing else like it, I still love it today, Feb. 2023.
Edda Dell'Orso is the Italian vocalist in the original score of Ecstasy of Gold. Her voice is fluid and flowing. She hits the very high notes without straining her voice. Other soprano vocalists try to vocalize the same heavenly tones but cannot deliver those very high notes without straining their vocal cords in a feeble attempt to deliver the same sound. There's only one Edda Dell'Orso. There will never be another. She is unsurpassed. Blessings to all.

I heard this piece three times in concert, and a few more concerts via TH-cam, and Ushakova is the one I like best. She belts it out, but doesn't force it into a solo song for her. And there is Eddah, of course. Who did make it her song. 🤗I have Eddah at home. I can't take Natalia UIshakova home. 🙂
