There are two types of men in this world. Those with a loaded gun, and those who play the piano intro of this song way too fast.

Doesn't matter, we all know the piano intro already. It can be done with.
First time I hear this and it's a nice change from the Danish National Orchestra version which went viral.

Edda Dell'Orso is the Italian vocalist in the original score of Ecstasy of Gold. Her voice is fluid and flowing. She hits the very high notes without straining her voice. Other soprano vocalists try to vocalize the same heavenly tones but cannot deliver those very high notes without straining their vocal cords in a feeble attempt to deliver the same sound. There's only one Edda Dell'Orso. There will never be another. She is unsurpassed. Blessings to all.

Worldwide polls have been conducted and the results are in:
#1. Edda Dell'Orso (The BEST by far and large, no comparison, unsurpassed, unbeatable, the one and only, the
    original)
#2. Susanna Rigacci (2nd best, powerful performer, marvellous voice)
#3. Natalia Ushakova (3rd best, very talented but no match for Edda or Susanna)
#4. Patricia Janeckova (4th best, powerful voice, promising soprano)
All these ladies are very talented, gifted but Edda is the Queen and owns this masterpiece for eternity. Susanna is her successor. By the way polls are not required because it is very clear that Edda is the Queen Master Supreme.

is this serious? Rigacci is always out of rythm and she just can't sing it smoothly. she's often out of tune, too.

I heard this piece three times in concert, and a few more concerts via TH-cam, and Ushakova is the one I like best. She belts it out, but doesn't force it into a solo song for her.
And there is Eddah, of course. Who did make it her song. 🤗I have Eddah at home. I can't take Natalia UIshakova home. 🙂
