Home defense is about a lot more than buying a gun, rather, it is about developing realistic plans. To complicate matters - children present another level of difficult in developing a good home defense plan. Responsible parents do not want their little kids to have access to loaded firearms, so if we are to secure our guns to keep kids safe... what has happened to our ability to QUICKLY respond to attackers / home invaders? I am all for using firearms for home defense, but perhaps in the instance of having small kids, adding non-lethal options to our home defense plans like Sabre red home defense spray could be a good idea. I have sabre spray in my home, in our vehicles, and on our keychains to complement our firearms.
