I'm equally impressed with how light and comfortable the Nexx X.WED3 helmet feels. The secret sauce that Nexx used to make it feel lighter than it actually is, lies in how well-balanced it is when wearing it. Nexx's R&D engineers and designers did an excellent job as this helmet definitely feels lighter and more comfortable than other brands of similar or even lighter weight. I suspect they used wind tunnel testing to fine-tune the balance in the airflow when riding. That must also be the reason why the peak doesn't vibrate or catch the wind and forces you to brace your neck against the wind pressure. Nexx managed to implement stable aerodynamics into the design of the helmet and peak, so that the airstreams don't cause turbulence at higher speeds. My wife and I love our X.WED3 helmets, as we experience no fatigue wearing them, even after a full day's riding.
The amount of design that went in to this helmet is pretty incredible. I actually weighed it against my Shoei RF-SR, which feels heavier than the Nexx XWed3. The Shoei is about 0.4lbs lighter, believe it or not.

Very well done sir. Based on your review I ordered it in the carbon fiber. Thank you 😊
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Hi Evan. Where did you buy the helmet? In Thailand?
A friend of mine bought it in Europe and gifted it to me.
