    About the video:
After a career break, getting back to the job market is not easy. Lack of employment opportunities, weird questions that get asked during interviews about why you took a break, and the motivation required to move your butt to break your old routine. Maybe that’s why 900 million people have stopped searching for jobs? I am not promising that this video will get you one. But if you are among those people who have not given up on your job search, then I promise by the end of this video, you will have a good idea about what to do next.
Because in today’s video we are going to see…
    1) 7 steps to get a job if you were on a career break. These steps will help you even if you are a fresher looking for your first job.
    2) I will share some real-life examples of people I’ve known who had unemployment gaps in their careers and the measure they took to land an offer, along with my experience of getting back to work after a career break.
    3) And towards the end, I’ll give you a Bonus Tip which can be your answer to the problem of not getting any interview calls.
I hope this video helps you in landing a job you love.

    You are absolutely brilliant!!
I had a 7 month employment gap and was getting rejected by most of the organisations.
Then I came across your TH-cam channel.
I watched 3 of your videos - 'Resume building, employment gap & commonly asked questions during interview '
In 2 weeks, I received an offer from American Express and I am joining on 2nd August, all thanks to you..
    God bless you!! 😇😇

This is a great video. I've just recently landed a job after having a 7 year gap due to an accident and Covid pandemic back to back. I remember putting my resume in around 15 job postings and only 1 manager took me in for an interview. I went there like nothing of my past ever happened, I told him the truth and made it seem as if the situation was just "Life" in which I had no control over. He noticed how I targeted in my resume that I recently obtained a license for the job I applied for and that I had 8 years experience of customer service before my 7 year gap. Before I applied I knew what the company was requiring me to qualify for (customer service, experience driving a car, and a class c commercial license) and I got the job instantly. So, this video is spot on with the advice because its all about what the company needs, not the gaps, primarily because they may run a criminal background anyway! I would say this, if you get rejected based on a gap in your resume, then you are lucky not to work there because most likely it is managed by unprofessional bosses who will never appreciate your value in skills.

      Hello
My husband is having 3 years employment gap(Due to COVID and other family problems). Now it's to difficult to find a job.We applying in many but not getting any response.

So, this is for folks like me.
ONE WITH 8 YEARS CAREER GAP.
I got a job yesterday within one week of applying. The pay is as per company norms for a fresher which may not seem much but take it. Enter into the job market, upskill and you would be at peace.
Leaving this here so that it inspires you to take the first step.
Also, read this quote which made me enter the job market
“ Manjil mil hi jayegi bhatakte hi sahi, gumraah to wo he jo ghar se nikle hi nahi” 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏡
However long the gap, whatever may be the reason- just start.

Just after my graduation in BCA i got placed as a trainer for programming language. After that, I got teaching and training career continuously till now. It was easy for me to work in that field because of the flexible timings which helped me to take care of my small kids at that time. I took MCA in along qith my profession from IGNO University. But I was not getting self satisfaction in my teaching field because I love to be in IT career. Since my kids are grown enough to manage themselves I am trying to build rest of my career in IT field. But not getting any opportunity because I don't have any experience in working with other projects or companies. I am practicing a lot to build projects and all. But I need an entry to the filed. I really need a suggestion to get into the industry.
