    I just ordered my proflex for my GT350 to! I paid $1,000 for mine (the pro model). Nice video I just subscribed. Wha year is your car and how many miles? I have a 2016 I just bought over the summer with only 250 miles on it currently. Bought it with 68 miles.

      @@5.2ltr yeah man. I got all the fluids changed and oil change before I drove it hard. I plan to continue to break it in before I get on her to much. She’s so special I don’t want to drive it much cuz I don’t want to wreck it lol.

      @@Shelbyville16 yeah man I feel that! Continues to take good care, check the oil regularly and potentially get extended warranty for piece of mind! After breaking her in it'll be fine to push her to the limits! Those cars wake up after 4k rpm🤟🏽

      @@5.2ltr yeah man I have a 8 year/100k warranty on it. I also installed oil catch cans (Ford performance), highly recommend!

      @@Shelbyville16 very nice! Time to put some miles on it! I have the passenger side catch can and it does collect a good amount of oil!

    I purchased the proflex commander a while ago, but didn't really gain any power on E85. Do you need a tune to get the extra power?

    • @5.2ltr
      @5.2ltr  ปีที่แล้ว

      You definitely don't need a tune as the commander adjusts for the extra fuel to be injected. How do you judge that you didn't gain any power? Did you dyno it, or do you go off of feel? Can you tell that you burn more fuel? I could tell an instant change!

    Do you actually feel the power gain or just better drivability?

    • @5.2ltr
      @5.2ltr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely feel the power gain! I installed it together with the intake, but whenever I switch to 93 I feel a power loss. E85 will definitely put a good gain to the rear! Can online recommend it if you have the infrastructure around!

    if you install the profile commander and something goes wrong with the engine while running e85, is the warranty voided? My engine blew on my 2017 gt350 got a new engine on warranty but without warranty would have costed 36k, so don't want to risk doing anything to void warranty lol

    • @5.2ltr
      @5.2ltr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So in theory if you do take the proflex commander out there should not be any traceability that it was ever installed. The only thing it changes is the amount of fuel injected into the engine and it does not change anything in the ECU like a tune would.
      That being said the proflex commander itself comes with some warranty on it, but what exactly it covers I cant tell you. I have been running mine for a year with no issues!
      I understand your concern with the engine. I personally trust the Gen2, but if I was you I would drive a few thousand miles on it, check the oil regularly and then go ahead with upgrades like this. Definitely worth its money though!

    Did you notice a change in MPG?

    • @5.2ltr
      @5.2ltr  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes as you burn the fuel quicker it does effect your MPG. However, E85 is cheaper than 93 in most states, so overall it's not more expensive to run.

    Can I put e 85 on a stock 2017 mustang gt without a tune?

    • @5.2ltr
      @5.2ltr  ปีที่แล้ว

      No! Definitely don't do that! Your engine/ injectors can't adjust for it so you will burn fuel too fast without making up for it and end up damaging your engine. If you want to run 85, get a harness like mine or get a tune. If you are concerned about getting a tune/ voiding warranty, you can run the harness without any tune!

      @@5.2ltr so on a 2015 5.0 all I need to do is this kit and it will work with my current tune? I don’t need to upgrade injectors right?

    • @5.2ltr
      @5.2ltr  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chrisandrews5938 I can't tell what you all have done to your car. At some point you will need injectors, but if you aren't heavily modded, it will work. The harness basically just measures the E content and adjusts the amount of fuel injected.
