Good news everyone - I will be reacting to live stages of all 4 songs with the video coming next week, see ya there for it! Check it out here! th-cam.com/video/iUaZf1XEpW8/w-d-xo.html
Can't wait tho and i hope you will be react more Exo MV and esp they're live stage bc the live stage is more insane Thank u for reacting my boys Exo ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Billboard named "Obsession" as the best album of 2019, and stated "This proves that crown of kpop is still safe in EXO's hands"...!! Honestly, I love Obsession so much, SM didn't disappointed in the production of Music Video... Even though it was not their full group comeback, they still nailed it..! If u want to react to more EXO contents, then next please react to live performances, People often say, they sound better live...!! Please react to "WOLF Remix" live in Tokyo next..!! thanks, for the reaction, I really loved how u reacted to them and pointed out many things...!!
In fact, they began military service in turn from 2019 (South Korean men have to enlist for 2 years before the age of 29), which is why there are only 6 people in obsession. In 2021, 2 people came back and 4 people joined the army, so they only released the special album "DFTF" (only 5 songs, almost a gift for long-awaited fans) There were 12 people in EXO at the beginning, and they suffered a lot. Now they usually act with 8 people (such as love shots). EXO is one of the greatest groups in kpop history. But SM Entertainment is very mean to them, does not promote it((Never buy advertising MV views like other k-pop groups) , gives very little publicity, and always tries to introduce its fans into other groups(By reducing activities and etc.). This is something that the kpop fan agrees. The general kpop group returns once every six months, but after 2017, it almost always returns once a year, let alone the enlistment period, and the members mainly work as solo artists. I also recommend you to take a look at KAI's "MMMH" mv, which has almost 100 million views. In addition, the solo artists of this group are also very successful, creating many records of kpop solo artists. Such as Chen, Baekhyun, Kai, etc. They also have sub unites as EXO-CBX and EXO-SC, and Suho also has solo.
I also recommend EXO’s concerts to you. It was too shocking. It is definitely the best of many kpop and European and American concerts I have seen. Almost every stage is very good. I am looking forward to your reaction. I felt the beautiful shock of wanting to cry in those concerts. They have songs of various styles and emotions. A concert usually takes three hours. There are intense singing and dancing and pure singing. Tell me what style you like and I will recommend it to you. ✨Calm and beautiful:th-cam.com/video/eXp3ted3kbs/w-d-xo.html ✨Sexy:th-cam.com/video/qi6vqNaEe14/w-d-xo.html Lively:th-cam.com/video/eiBow5ofNNc/w-d-xo.html Dancing in the nightclub: th-cam.com/video/ihfnlBVUpPg/w-d-xo.html (please skip the 1st) Epic:th-cam.com/video/wCw4dNlVjsQ/w-d-xo.html Sad:th-cam.com/video/N1zC-lm_DHA/w-d-xo.html There are more than one hundred videos that I want to recommend, but let’s stop here ❤️
Exo is still a nine member group but the number is changing in dont fight the feeling mv because 2 of their member is doing their mandatory militry service which span for 2 years. In dont fight the feeling mv, members suho and chen cannot participate due to their military services. While in obession mv, members d.o and xiumin cannot participate due to the same reason and lay, the only chinese member is doing activity in china due to the political tension between korea and china at that time. In the dont fight the feeling mv, their recent album this year, d.o, xiumin (both completed their military service) and lay are returning to the group. Once, all the members completed their services, we can see the boys in the full group again. But until then, they will be doing solo and group activities with the remaining member.
EXO is a whole vocal powerhouse ......no one can beat their vocals even two main rappers have great vocals.......their live performances ,live vocals are insane ...pls react them more .....thank you 😍
EXO is different from the other kpop boy groups. their concept is Dark, in their Mvs they always present part of their concept, always inovando, without being afraid of change. EXO is an amazing and unique group. More EXO please! THANK YOU 💕
EXO is one of the most successful kpop groups ever They are 9 members and debuted in 2012.They considered vocal kings of kpop bc they have some of the best vocalists and dancers in the industry. Their music is mostly RnB but they do other genres too
Every EXO MV always has a complicated and best concept. This concept is always continuous with EXO's MVs with each other. and EXO always show something different in terms of music, genre of music, visuals, costumes, etc. Always love EXO and if you want, you can see the history of EXO. ^o^
I agree with you, I think all MVs from K-Pop music never disappoint. But for concerts, EXO still holds the record for the fastest ticket sales in the world. EXO's live performance is the best in KPop industry. because they really showed their talent on stage by surprising the audience a lot from their side of the show. It's not that the performances of other groups are bad, they're all so amazing.. but EXO is on a different level for their live concerts.
I have to say that their EXO live performance is even much better than the MV, please watch the concert video I recommend! Looking forward to more EXO reactions. As for 【Tempo】, you really need to check KAI's tempo focus, which surpassed kpop and became art. In fact, he is the dance king elected by 100 well-known kpop idols for many years.
The song is called "Tempo" and the album is named Don't Mess Up My Tempo, so, the tempo keeps speeding up and slowing down. I think the change in tempo is also supposed to mirror the uncertainty and unsteadiness that EXO are feeling within the storyline in the MV. However, if you read the lyrics, you see that the song is talking to a girl and they are telling her, "Don't mess up my tempo." And yes, part of the tempo in the song is created by the squeak of what is thought to be bed springs -- the whole song has undertones of sexual innuendo. However, as with everything EXO does, there are duel meanings depending on how deeply you want to interpret the song and MV. On the surface the song and MV is meant to be enjoyed by the casual watcher and listener like you would any song on the radio, but if you want to delve in deeper and explore EXO's storyline, then there is so much more going on. As an SM Entertainment group, it shouldn't be a surprise that EXO are amazing vocalists -- hence the acapella part in the song. That is just what SM is known for. You can't be an SM artist without having amazing vocals and dance skills. That's just a fact about the type of people SM selects to become part of its company. All of SM's artists were first chosen for their vocal and/or dance skills, and even the rappers get intense training as vocalists. None of SM's rappers became a trainee because of their rap skills, all of the company's rappers learned to rap, or really became good at it, only after joining the company. That is why SM is known as the vocal powerhouse of the industry because they put a huge emphasis on showcasing outstanding vocal talent. And EXO is a perfect example of that. All 9 members are in "Tempo." (With the MVs that were released after this, there are fewer members because different members are serving in the military during those MVs, or were unable to participate.) The aesthetic of the "Tempo" MV is centered around the color red because the setting is supposed to be depicting the members under the Red Forces' control. Without going into too much detail -- there is so much going on in EXO's "Tempo" MV that it's hard to grasp it all -- what fan theories think is happening in "Tempo" is it is showing the members of EXO all trapped in separate dimensions. Each of those rooms, could possibly be a different dimension and that is why you see the glitches and why you hear Xiumin and Baekhyun with that computerized voice, because they aren't all in the same place at the same time so their voices are being distorted as they try to connect between dimensions, etc. They also still could be trapped in different rooms within the maze, like what we saw them in their "Overdose" MV. For several of EXO's MVs we believe they are still trapped within the maze and they are continuously trying to find their way out. The maze seems to affect their connection to their powers and it clouds their minds and dulls their senses, so not only are they fighting the Red Force and X-EXO, but they are also struggling to break free from the fog the Red Force has them in. That's why you see some of the members just lazily sitting around and kind of blankly staring off into space at times. Baekhyun is the one that is singled out in the MV and he is the one standing above everything looking down, so this is one example of where we think that maybe he is the only one who has avoided the Red Force's control and he is observing everything that is going on from the outside. You see Chanyeol being interrogated by Chen with the inkblot test and that is thought to be the members trying to figure out who are the real EXO members and who are the evil X-EXO members created by the Red Force -- or who are the real members and who are the clones. At this point everyone is suspicious of each other and no one can be trusted. As you may have noticed, halfway through the MV Chanyeol's eyes and hair change color, so some think that this is either showing two different versions of Chanyeol who appear in two different time periods or dimensions, or one is Chanyeol the EXO member and one is Chanyeol the X-EXO clone. The "Chess game" is thought to be supernatural EXO chess, and I don't think its a game they are playing, but I think maybe it's something they are using to try to decipher a clue or figure out a way out of wherever the Red Force has them trapped at the moment. It's unclear at the moment what that scene is really telling us, but I have a feeling things will become clearer in the future as more of EXO's storyline is unveiled in future MVs and as SM's SM Culture Universe storyline continues to evolve. You also see Sehun on the motorcycle in this MV, which I now think is connected to the scene where we see him on the motorcycle in their new "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV. In the very last scene, that is Baekhyun with that cube. I am not sure what that means, but I am sure it's foreshadowing something to come in the future with EXO's storyline. You also see EXO's Chinese member Lay in this MV, but you won't see or hear him sing or dance in this MV because you watched the Korean version, and at this time the Chinese government only gave him permission to appear in the Korean version of "Tempo", but he wasn't allowed to participate in the song. If you want to hear Lay sing you will have to watch the Mandarin version of the "Tempo" MV. Lay has a few lines in the Mandarin version, but he was not allowed to work with the other members, so all his parts were recorded separately and they had to be inserted into the song and MV. He had to get special permission even to take part in this comeback, and this was the closest we have gotten to seeing him back with the group since all these political issues between Korea and China started almost 5 years ago now. And up until their new MV for "Don't Fight the Feeling", this is the only time you will see him in an EXO MV and song since 2016. It's kind of mind blowing the amount of planning and manipulation SM Entertainment has been doing over the years to connect all the dots and to continue the story. It gets even crazier when you realize how even the most minute of details were crafted to be a hidden message or detail within that storyline. Nothing in this MV is random or done just because, even the smallest of detail has been planned out to either connect to something to do with EXO's storyline from past MVs or it will become a key part to help explain something in one of their future MVs.
Agree with the Monster reaction. They were 6 during obsession and the long breaks in between were for members who served and some serving and will serve in the military. They wouldn't be complete until like 2025?
EXO just show how versatile and talented they are... Their MV is not just aesthetics and high quality, but full of concept behind... EXO is called the Nation's Pick and Vocal King... But their choreo, visual, talents and personality are just so good... no promo and support from the company and hiatus, they still sells million and stay on top... looking fwd to more reactions of them
EXO is my favorite group, definitely the only kpop group that I like, I love their entire discography, I follow them since 2014 and I have'nt found another group that attracts me like them, thank you for reacting to them, I am very grateful.
What happened to that long break after Obsession? Lol. As much as we want them as one but their doing solos and unit projects (and some in military). They are just so versatile group to which almost every single member has solo. Thank you for this.
Exo actually have a concept that they are from EXO planet(EXO means outer) a planet out of our solar system(first group to have a concept with a parallel universe)each member has each own superpower and they are chased by the Red Force All their MVs(not lyrics) are connected and have to do with this concept but its too complicated, there are many theory videos on yt about it,its very interesting
Ahm. According to one of the writers/producers of Tempo, which is also the writer/co-producer of Obsession, Obsession is kind of more meticulously produce than tempo, what I mean is very calculated, like the pre-chorus, chorus and even the 'i want you, want you' loop. While Tempo has a reference from Bohemian Rhapsody, the producer/writer said it himself in an interview.
They've tried almost all kinds of genres in their songs, their b-sides are fire and their discography is the BEST in kpop... VOCAL KINGS FOR A REASON!!!
Please react to their very first album "XOXO", it is also a very good album, and with this they became the first group to sell a million copies after 12 years. !!
Exo is a box of chocolates, 9 members all have their own solo work, they all have different music styles and it's just as amazing as the group project, so if you like to check out more of their music Here are some recommendations : Sub-unit: Exo-SC --> 1 billion views / what a life /telephone Exo-CBX --> hey mama / blooming days / the one Solo: Baekhyun --> un village / candy /bambi Kai --> film:kai / mmmh Lay --> honey / lit Chanyeol --> nothin / tomorrow /ssfw /yours D.o. --> tell me what is love / that's ok Chen --> hello / shall we / beautiful goodbye Suho --> let's love / dinner Xiumin --> you Sehun --> on me Group: Tempo / sweet lies / obsession /Don't fight the feeling / kokobop / universe / ooh la la la / sing for you / love shot …and on and on… I think other exo-l will recommend more Looking forward to more exo reaction , Enjoy your exo journey and have a nice day 😊
Thank you for reacting to EXO! You really made great choices, those 4 songs are 🔥🔥 First of all, EXO is versatile, they do all genres but they tend to make RnB pop music. 2nd, may be you don't know, EXO is known as KPOP VOCAL KINGS. There are 9 members in the group and all can sing well, even the rappers. They have some of the best vocalists in Kpop industry (the 3 main vocals😚). Their live performances are on another level I swear. You need to check out their live, I will recommend later if you want to. Next I'd like to request more their MV: MAMA (their debut), Growl, Overdose, Call me baby. They're old but gold!
This is because there members at military even they stop promoting from 2 year because there members at military and there latest song don't fight the feeling they don't even promote at at it was sudden shock to us to see that video without promotion there are about to get 100 million if they will promote song they will get huge views because they are biggest boy bond group they are called nation pick they are first one to sell 1 million album there concert tickets sold out in 0.1 sec they have always choose for political matter to present korea but we are waiting for members to comeback from military there latest videos was just special album we don't know about it it was sudden shock without promotion they got this much still people are knowing about that album when they will come back there comeback will be huge to kpop
Exo the legendary group u won't regret getting into they tried evry single genre even rock in their debut song "mama" And their concerts are insane please react to more exo❤
EXO is a vocals powerhouse, 6 out of 9 members as musical actors proven their vocals ability. Even the two rappers can sing very well and become a vocalist if they debut in other group. EXO did a lot of genre and you can't expect them to do the same style of music but a lot of their songs are R&B.
Its funny how whenever exo releases a song it became the unofficial national/international anthem They released growl in 2013 and was named unofficial Korean anthem cus everyone knew it in korea 2014 :overdose evryone cover this song in talent show 2015:call me baby the intro in evry kpop content channel 2016:monster/lotto play in the background of evry ff in TH-cam 💀 2017:kokopop the song everyone was sick of hearing yet love cus it was everywhere 2018:'love shot every idol did this cover lol become the international kpop anthem When i say exo are the standard I mean it
That the thing about exo rapper they have the best delivery and tone in kpop they adapt to every style u would love lightsaber rap it's a collaboration song with starwars also you're right exo is the first kpop group to have acapella bridge I mean they started to many trend in kpop King of flexing their talents and versatility and originality
EXO has always been experimental. Their debut MV, and pre-debut MV's, were/are insane. There was a lot of hype around them, especially around their storyline/concept. I believe that EXO was the first group to have a concept/universe in Kpop, and to this day, I don't think there is a more in depth, or detailed group storyline. Their storyline plays a lot into their MV's as well. EXO's title tracks are all over the place, as far as concept goes. They are never afraid to try something new, and they always manage to kill it. SM's innovation and willingness to set trends and push boundaries, is one of the things I appreciate about them most. Other than creating EXO, that is. Their discography (including their B-side songs) is easily one of the best in Kpop. They have 163 songs, I believe, and there isn't a one among them that I don't enjoy. I didn't love them all at first, but that's the thing with EXO songs...even if you don't like the song at first, if you listen to it a few more times, you will love it...Same with the members. Each of the 9 members is a unique personality, but they somehow all work as a group. And their relationship with each other is amazing. It is very hard for most people to have just one bias, or just a bias at all! I have an ult bias, and 8 biases/bias wreckers. Sorry, this got really long. Anyway, I really enjoyed your reaction, and your breakdown and analysis of what you liked and didn't like. I think you will really come to like EXO, the more you get to know them. I recommend watching the individual member guides by Cesar Oh, as EXO's history is somewhat complicated...
Love Shot is a pretty simple, but catchy song…but it was mainly the iconic MV visuals, outfits and choreo that got people really talking about it and coming back for more. Love Shot’s views just shows how thirsty us fans can be lol. And the pitched voices in the back that are used for the instrumental in Obsession are a loop of “I wantcha, I wantcha, wantcha.” Which considering the lyrics snd title..are pretty fitting lol.
Exo is the group that comes ones in a lifetime.. So unique, so powerfull.. Their vocals are just untouchable Also not long ago i found for myself another incredible group which i liked as much as exo (honestly i never thought I would stan another group except exo) ATEEZ! A really talented and charismatic and incredible group 🔥 i was really shocked by their stage pressence
EXO KINGS AND LEGENDS OF K-POP. The national men's group of South Korea. They became the first artists in 12 years who managed to sell more than a million copies of the album. XOXO was named "Album of the Year" at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards, making EXO the youngest male group ever to receive this award. They performed at the closing ceremony of the Universiade 2013 in Kazan. They performed at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon. They sell out concert tickets in 0.2 seconds, which is a WORLD RECORD TO THIS DAY. They received the first Prime Minister's award at the 2017 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards for their contribution to Korean culture. They were included in the TOP-50 most popular male groups in the world of the last decade according to "24/7 Wall St" (EXO took the 10th place, becoming the only representative of Asia, indicators in Billboard, Spotify and Wikipedia were taken into account). They were included in the Guinness Book of Records as the group that received the largest number of daesans at the MAMA Award. They are the security ambassadors of Seoul.
What made love shot so popular is clearly the choreography and of course Kai and his red suit, he has a BIG part in this success...And again, just like you said the refrain is mostly about nananananana ohohohohoh...so it makes it catchy for the audience, just like a lot of the most popular songs all over the world...
EXO is always and forever my KINGS of KPOP 💯%. Thank you for checking them. Love lots😍 Keep safe. BTW, The (3)members are doing military service during that time of released for (2 years) and if you are wondering where are they now, (4) members are still doing military service until now and we have (2) members not yet done so basically, we can see them all in one album by year 2024. ● Xiumin, D.O (military done) ● Suho, Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun (still in the military) ● Kai, Sehun (not yet) ● LAY is very ACTIVE in (China) the only chinese members left.
Everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything, is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 9 years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs. And because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story. Everything SM Entertainment does is connected to EXO's storyline like one giant graphic novel or mystery movie series. Each new MV or project that is created is like another chapter in SM Entertainment's SM Culture Universe. As mentioned before, from day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from Planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them. There are 9 members in EXO's "Monster" MV. So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story, and over the years we fans have started to create a timeline and idea of what we think each part of the story is telling us. As the English lines in "Monster" say ... They're "Creeping, Creeping Creeping .... Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... i'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo." So the floating watch and the car that is on fire in reverse, etc., I think was -- on top of being a metaphor in the story -- also supposed to be the members using their superpowers. And the snake, like a monster, mirrors the beat of the song, which kind of slithers like a snake as a metaphor for the way the guy slithers in and out of the relationship stealing warmth and affection from the girl, but in the end, leaving her cold and alone like a cold-blooded snake, etc. However, the lyrics of the song have very little to do with the story in the MV. If you want to know what the song is about, you should look up an English translation of the lyrics. Because the lyrics tell a different story than the story in the MV. In the song the members are talking about a girl and they are telling the girl that "You can call me Monster" because I know I am bad for you and I will ruin you. I know that when we are over that I will have destroyed everything that is good about you, but I don't care because I want you so much that it doesn't matter to me. But the MV is about EXO's origin story and about the fact that they have come to Earth on a mission to stop the Red Force from corrupting humanity. Also, the majority of the choreography for "Monster" has to do with the members using their powers, so when/if you watch the dance practice and/or watch a live performance, if you know what you are looking for, you will see that each move is done for a very specific reason. The X they make to represent EXO is only the beginning of the story in their choreography. Every move of the choreography has been designed to be an extension of their story and it uses elements of their dance to represent several of the members using their powers. For example, D.O. has the power of super strength, so during his part in the song and choreography you will see that he waves his hands and the other members are pushed away from him or pulled toward him. When you see Suho in the middle of the group and they have a hold of his arms, he rotates his body around like swirling water because Suho has the power to control water. Xiumin has the power to control snow/ice/frost, so during one part of the choreography you will see that each of the members pause as if frozen as he moves in front of them. Sehun has the power to control wind, so during his parts, you will see the other members shuffle around him as if they are creating a windstorm. And the part where they are sitting on the ground is supposed to represent a sundial -- EXO gets their power from the eclipse and their powers are affected by planetary and solar phenomenon, so the sundial is meant to represent the passing of time and their connection to the sun. You should also make note that EXO's next MV for their song "Lotto" is a prequel to "Monster," so when you watch "Lotto," if you keep in mind what you saw happen in "Monster" is what is going to take place after or in conjunction with the events in "Lotto", the story might make more sense. How "Monster" and "Lotto" tie into EXOs larger storyline is a little open ended, but because "Lotto" is thought to be the prequel to "Monster," I think the story starts out in "Lotto" where the members have somehow infiltrated this big gambling ring and are undercover as they work to uncover a clue or something they need in order to accomplish their tasks here on Earth. I think the underground gambling establishment is run by a gang of bad guys who are probably members of the Red Force. "Lotto" is where we are introduced to a girl who is being held captive. And ultimately, I think what EXO are trying to do is rescue the girl from the Red Force, but they are trying to do it without blowing their cover or being found out. So, that's why you see in "Lotto," and continued in "Monster," the members are fighting against the police because the police have come in to take down the gambling ring and rescue the girl, which is also what EXO are trying to do. However, the members of EXO don't want to be discovered, so they play along as if they are part of the bad guys. EXO are supposed to be going about their tasks here on Earth incognito, and humanity is never supposed to find out that EXO are other-worldly beings, so they are trying to keep a low profile. As we see in the end of "Monster," Baekhyun disguises himself as one of the police and helps the other members escape from the back of the police van before they are taken to jail and/or captured by the Red Force, etc. You also see EXO's Chinese member Lay crouched in the middle of what looks like a pile of people -- I'm not sure whether these are the FBI agents, or if these are members of the Red Force -- and I think he is checking to make sure they are OK and possibly trying to use his power of healing to fix things and heal the injured. Because some theories believe that EXO are traveling between time periods and dimensions, I think in "Monster" they also might be showing how some of the members are arriving on scene at different moments in the timeline of events that are taking place in the MV -- the members don't necessarily arrive at the location together. For instance, you also see Kai standing on or near a giant pile of people as well, and he seems to be standing over them. Some have pointed to this as possibly showing evil X-EXO Kai -- Kai's alter ego clone that was created by the Red Forced and introduced in EXO's "Obsession" MV -- who has done something bad, but I think this may be showing good EXO Kai, who has just shown up at that moment, observing what has taken place. Because Kai has the power of teleportation he is the one that is in charge of bringing the members together and traveling between time and space, so I think he has shown up from a different time or place and is now trying to figure out what has happened, etc. In EXO's "Obsession" MV the members in the bright colored clothing with the crazy makeup and hair are supposed to be X-EXO and the ones in the black or dark colored clothing are supposed to be EXO. So, in the parts where they are dressed in all black in "Monster" I think this is showing EXO, and where you see them in the red, this might by showing X-EXO. At the time when "Monster" was first released, we had no idea about X-EXO's existence, but since "Obsession", we have started to go back and reanalyze some of their older MVs, and it appears that what we thought was always EXO, may have been in fact X-EXO some of the time. As you can see, EXO's story is always evolving and changing, and just when you think you have one part understood, SM introduces a new piece of the story and changes the direction of the narrative. It's also thought that red light represents the Red Force and blue light represents EXO. So in EXO's MVs when you see red light this is where the Red Force has control, and when you see blue light this is where EXO has the upperhand. However, if you see purple light this is thought to be when the line between EXO and the Red Force is blurred and they are battling to gain control. Unfortunately, as you can see, what makes EXO's storyline even more difficult to follow is the fact that nothing is ever in chronological order. So you really have to pay close attention to every detail, to even begin to make connections.
I think a guide is necessary if you wanna catch up on the legendary EXO. They have a concept and nothing is random or meaningless in ANYTHING they do (MVs, Lives, VCR, Lyrics, B-sides, theme...). They can also do all generas and excel in it. Oh, and they weren't at their highest in 2018, it was actually since 2013 when they became the first Kpop Million Sellers in 12 years with their 1st album! (they are now Sextuple Million Sellers FYI) 😎
EXO really changed the kpop scene (if you know you know) It's just sad that their company don't treat them well, like you said, why are the gaps of each comeback so far :)) Imagine if they had legit promotions! They're so strong from 2nd gen of kpop until the present generation so I think that is enough to describe how powerful this group is. Will look forward to more EXO reacts! King of kpop EXO!
MONSTER (2016)_ 9 MEMBERS TEMPO (2018)_ 8 MEMBERS (+LAY CAMEO) LOVE SHOT (2018)_ 8 MEMBERS OBSESSION (2019)_ 6 MEMBERS Don't fight the feeling (2021)_ 7 MEMBERS The amount of members changes because since 2019 Exo has starting sending members to the military service which lasts almost 2 years hehe. EXO has 9 members!
Check Out ..theIr live stage surely you gonna loved it.....trust me..the vocals wiĺl màke hype.....thanks for reacting their videos ....looking forward to see more exo reactions.🙂
As with most of EXO's songs and MVs, the song and the story in the MV are two separate things. There are two messages that the story tells in the MV. Yes, the story in the MV is loosely based on the lyrics of the song, but the main point of the MV is mostly to tell another part of EXO's story. Part of EXO's mission is they are constantly fighting against and battling the Red Force for control. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda and corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. While on their quest to locate and protect the Tree of Life, EXO is also tasked with trying to fix everything the Red Force has caused. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc. There are 8 members in "Love Shot." EXO's Chinese member, Lay, was not able to participate in this MV. In "Love Shot" I'm not sure why they first ended up at the gas/service station or the cinema/movie theater, but the story in this MV is all about how the Red Force is trying to corrupt and control them. For example, supposedly, most fans agree, that Xiumin may have been captured by the Red Force -- or maybe it's his X-EXO clone. If you notice, Xiumin is squaring off with a group of guys with guns, but a few seconds later we see someone with a mask and when the mask is removed you see that it's Xiumin, which seems to show that he may not be who we think he is. And when Chen is sitting in the theater watching the film, you see what fans agree is Suho, as the leader, probably trying to protect the members and prevent Chen from watching the film by covering his eyes, which is thought to probably be the Red Force trying to control EXO with whatever is playing on the screen, etc. You also see references to the movie screen with Chen being projected on the screen in their MV for "Lucky One" and the scene where Suho is running through the forest in their MV for "For Life," etc. These instances seem to be showing times when the Red Force are using the videos to brainwash EXO and to keep them incapacitated so they don't try to fight back or escape, etc. In "Love Shot" one theory is that the members are fighting to discover who has been corrupted by the Red Force and who may not be who they say they are, etc., which I see as a sort of continuation of the story in "Tempo." which is why you see them being very suspicious pointing their guns -- which are filled with alcohol -- at each other. (Get it? the song is called "Love Shot" so it has a double meaning: Love Shot like a gun and Love Shot like a shot of alcohol. :D) The flowers have two purposes, one is they represent Love and EXO is collecting love, but also the flowers are a big part of EXO's storyline. There has been a flower theme that continues throughout all of EXO's MVs. The flowers are thought to be something that EXO is collecting and trying to get rid of to prevent the Red Force from being able to control people, etc. They often collect the flowers and then burn them, like you see in "Love Shot" and in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama." Blue roses also have some sort of significance, but I am not sure what yet -- we see EXO with a blue rose in their concert performances of "Lightsaber" and we see Sehun with a blue rose in "Love Shot." Some of what happens in this story is explained by past MVs and other parts will hopefully, be explained as the story continues in future MVs. Baekhyun is actually one of the main characters in EXO's storyline so he is often set apart or singled out in EXO's MVs. He is often the one that stands alone or is highlighted in the story. In their "Power" MV Baekhyun has been singled out and is sort of separated from the other members. Which seems to suggest maybe Baekhyun is the only member that hasn't been corrupted by the Red Force. So that is why in "Tempo" and in "Love Shot" we see Baekhyun standing on top of the building looking down on the rest of the members, almost as if he is observing them from another dimension or from another time period. Baekhyun is often the one who is going behind the sense to help EXO. For example, we see him disguised as a member of the police as he rescues the other members from the back of the police van in "Monster," and we see Baekhyun facing off with and confronting Xiumin in "Love Shot." :D And now that we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO, EXO's evil clones, as part of "Obsession's" story, I am also starting to think that maybe in "Love Shot" we aren't just seeing EXO. I think maybe when we see the members dressed in the bright colors -- for example, when they are in their suits -- this might be X-EXO and when we see the scenes were they are in black, this could be EXO. Because, if you remember, in "Obsession" we find out that the members in all black are EXO the good guys, and when we see them in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup that is their X-EXO alter ego clones. This could also explain why Kai is dressed in a red suit. Although I am sure their stylists put him in red because he looks really good in it, I think SM chose it because it's another hidden message within the storyline. Usually, whenever we see red in EXO's MVs this has something to do with the Red Force, so for a long time I have been wondering why then would they put Kai in a red suit? However, now that we know about the X-EXO members, I am starting to think that when we see the members in their colorful suits and clothing in "Love Shot" this is actually the X-EXO members, so when we see Kai in red this is his alter ego clone, as well as the other members when we see them in suits, etc. I also think maybe the members who are collecting all the flowers in "Love Shot" are really X-EXO, as part of some evil plot, etc. If you look at the members expressions and the outfits they are wearing in the scenes where you see them collecting the flowers, this reminds me a lot of what they looked like in their MV for "Ko Ko Bop." Since "Obsession," theories now think that what the "Ko Ko Bop" MV was showing us was X-EXO right after they were created as they are becoming acclimated to the world and learning how to use their powers, etc. Which would explain why everything in the "Ko Ko Bop" MV is so brightly colored as well. But you should also know that no one really knows for sure what is happening in any of EXO's MVs. There are well known theories and storylines that are accepted within the fandom which we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within their larger storyline, but nothing is set in stone. As we have discovered with EXO's latest installment of their story with "Obsession," fan theories are constantly evolving and changing with every new piece of the puzzle and now it has completely changed what we thought we understood about almost everything in their previous MVs.
Please react to their album too.. Their side track is on another level. Actually all exo's songs are amazinggg. Thank you for your reaction. Welcome to exo planet.
EXO is a very unique group that their musicality is so hard to replicate because of their versatility. If you don't know any of their songs, you can't simply predict what's going to happen next and they sounded very different in every songs that they did not like other K-Pop groups that they always had that signature tune as if their songs sounded like their other songs. With EXO, you'll always get a different feel and I think, its what made them on a different level especially their songs were made excellent for their live performances. Their songs may not sounded so catchy with the MVs but wait til you watch their live performance and you will realise that They don't really have a bad song. Even their B sides were more better songs and can be title tracks as well. Thanks for your reaction. 🥰🥰🥰
What you saw in the "Obsession" MV was that EXO's doppelgangers were actually their alter ego clones and they were using their superpowers, such as Chanyeol with his fire power, Sehun uses his wind power to deflect the arrows, Baekhyun uses his power of light as a saber in the fencing battle, and Suho (the one with red hair) controls water in the room with all the pictures of water, etc. to fight their other selves. You see the planet on fire in the end of the MV because it's supposed to show how the world is coming to an end as EXO (the good guys in all black) and X-EXO (the evil ones in the colorful outfits with crazy hair and makeup) battle for control, etc. X-EXO has been created by the evil Red Force and EXO and X-EXO are fighting each other. EXO are trying to prevent X-EXO from taking over and corrupting humanity and X-EXO are trying to stop EXO from finding the Tree of Life and putting the two halves back together and restoring peace, etc. To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV and It is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the group's concept -- and since then, everything SM does branches off from that storyline. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers. Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary. The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. EXO's concept is also connected to real life planetary and solar events, so several of EXO's comebacks and new song releases for the main group of EXO are timed to when eclipses and other planetary phenomenons take place. For example, their comeback for their War album and Power repackaged album coincided with when we had a solar eclipse, etc. SM Entertainment has all of EXO's release dates and concepts planned out for years in advance, and it is all tied to the SM Universe. Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. So to really understand their full origin story you have to watch both the K and the M version of "Mama", because the EXO-K version focuses on the K members and their powers and the EXO-M version focuses on the M members and their powers. However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 members.) However, now -- because they no longer have enough Chinese members -- they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. However, in the "Obsession" MV there are only 6 members -- Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun -- because 2 of the members -- D.O. and Xiumin -- are on hiatus during this comeback as they serve in the military; and due to the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government, Lay -- their Chinese member -- was unable to participate in activities with the group. So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story, and over the years we fans have started to create a timeline and idea of what we think each part of the story is telling us. However, the introduction of "Obsession's" part of the story really threw all of our theories for a loop and it has made us question everything we have ever thought was happening in EXO's storyline. Since "Obsession" some think maybe EXO has been trapped somewhere from the very beginning and it has been X-EXO that we have been following all along. But I think it's still even more complex than that. I think at times we have been watching EXO and at times we have been watching X-EXO -- with the release of "Obsession" we have only just discovering that the story hasn't necessarily been showing EXO the whole time. With the new information provided to us through "Obsession," it also makes me question how Lay fits within the X-EXO/EXO storyline. Maybe he is one of the members who has been able to break free or avoid the Red Forces' control. In Lay's solo MV for "Sheep," the Allen Walker relift version, we see everything burning outside as if an apocalypse is happening. Maybe "Sheep" is showing us the planet burning from Lay's viewpoint, like we see the world burning at the end of the "Obsession" MV. Also, I believe that the storyline in "Obsession" is connected to SuperM's debut "Jopping" MV storyline. If you pay attention to what Baekhyun and Kai were wearing in"Obsession," those outfits are very similar to the black outfits that Baekhyun and Kai are wearing in the "Jopping" MV. Kai is even wearing the same backpack parachute in both MVs. Which seems to be SM Entertainment's way of making sure we see the connection between those MVs. So it is thought that, as part of SuperM's storyline, EXO has gathered the best of the best of SM's groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT/WayV -- to help them battle the Red Force and maybe eventually take down X-EXO. Just like the Marvel Avengers come together as individual superheroes with their own storylines to create the Avengers and to fight evil, it is thought that SuperM is coming together to create the ultimate supergroup to help EXO fight the evil and corruption inflicted on humanity by the Red Force. Unfortunately, to make it even more difficult to understand, each part of the story is not necessarily in chronological order, so we as EXO-L (EXO fans) have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of all of their teasers, MVs, song lyrics, albums, concert VCRs, choreography and even live performances and piece it all together to understand the story behind it all. And not only are EXO's and SuperM's MVs and storylines connected, but pretty much all of SM's groups have storylines and concepts that connect together, which is designed to become part of one giant graphic novel or movie in the SM Culture Universe. To help you pinpoint the powers being used in EXO's MVs and live performances, here is a list of the members and what their special power is. EXO-K 💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeon) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho.) 💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light 🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix. 🌏D.O. (Do KyungSoo) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force ☄Kai (Kim JongIn) is a main dancer, lead vocalist and sub-rapper and his power is teleportation (Kai means opening as in a door or gateway, so his stage name is meant to symbolize his role in the group.) 🌪Sehun is the youngest member of the group and he is a lead rapper, lead dancer and a vocalist -- his power is the ability to control wind EXO-M ❄Xiumin (Kim MinSeok) is the oldest member of the group and he is a lead vocalist and lead rapper and his power is the ability to control snow/ice (frost) 🦄 Lay (Zhang Yixing) is the Chinese member of the group, he is a main dancer, lead vocalist and rapper -- his power is the ability to heal anything. 🌩 Chen (Kim JongDae) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control thunder/lightning/electricity (As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese group) The Chinese members who are not in this MV, but are still an important part of EXO's storyline: 🐉 Kris was the leader of EXO-M he was a main rapper and vocalist -- his power was the ability to fly and his spirit animal was a dragon (Kris left the group in April 2014.) 💭 Luhan was a main vocalist and his power was telekinesis (The ability to control things with his mind) (Luhan left the group in October 2014.) ⏰Tao (Z.Tao) was a lead rapper and vocalist and the martial artist of the group, so he did the flips and stunts in the group's routines. His power was the ability to control time (Tao ended activities with EXO in August 2015.)
I love how you said obsession is different from the other three, loveshot is different from tempo and monster, tempo is different from monster...hahah yes they don't repeat their concepts every mv is different from other EXO Mvs...they slayed every concept, every genre..........therefore, EXO is the genre! The comment i was looking for
Yup..their B sides are insanely good ❤️
Exactly. I listen to their B sides song more.
Man, obsession is one of the best albums ever been released and it really deserved so much more
THE KINGS OF KPOP
Yes
I mean can I deny that? No
YES
In fact, they began military service in turn from 2019 (South Korean men have to enlist for 2 years before the age of 29), which is why there are only 6 people in obsession. In 2021, 2 people came back and 4 people joined the army, so they only released the special album "DFTF" (only 5 songs, almost a gift for long-awaited fans)
There were 12 people in EXO at the beginning, and they suffered a lot.
Add to that D.O.'s solo debut, Empathy released just this June 2021.
Baekhyun is the most successful solo artist in Kpop in the last 20 years
I also recommend EXO’s concerts to you.

Their live performance better than MV, u should check
Exo is the best vocal performer in the world👍💕💕💕
Yes...
Did u know that EXO hold the record(Guiness records) for fastest sold out concert ever in just 0.2s
EXO is different from the other kpop boy groups. their concept is Dark, in their Mvs they always present part of their concept, always inovando, without being afraid of change. EXO is an amazing and unique group. More EXO please! THANK YOU 💕
EXO is one of the most successful kpop groups ever
They are 9 members and debuted in 2012.They considered vocal kings of kpop bc they have some of the best vocalists and dancers in the industry.
*Exo kings* as always 🔥🔥🔥
No one left 1 is in China, and at that times 2 were in military.
All 9 members are in "Tempo." (With the MVs that were released after this, there are fewer members because different members are serving in the military during those MVs, or were unable to participate.)
The aesthetic of the "Tempo" MV is centered around the color red because the setting is supposed to be depicting the members under the Red Forces' control.
Yess
I think they will back completely in 2025 and i really hope lay will be in there too bc i miss him with Exo on the stage 😭❤️
Tempo's acapella part is a Vocal Flex 😌❤
Where I'm always proud of gosh!
Welcome to the EXO Planet
Exo actually have a concept that they are from EXO planet(EXO means outer) a planet out of our solar system(first group to have a concept with a parallel universe)each member has each own superpower and they are chased by the Red Force
All their MVs(not lyrics) are connected and have to do with this concept but its too complicated, there are many theory videos on yt about it,its very interesting

Exo the legendary group u won't regret getting into they tried evry single genre even rock in their debut song "mama"
And their concerts are insane please react to more exo❤
EXO is a vocals powerhouse, 6 out of 9 members as musical actors proven their vocals ability. Even the two rappers can sing very well and become a vocalist if they debut in other group. EXO did a lot of genre and you can't expect them to do the same style of music but a lot of their songs are R&B.
Its funny how whenever exo releases a song it became the unofficial national/international anthem
They released growl in 2013 and was named unofficial Korean anthem cus everyone knew it in korea
2014 :overdose evryone cover this song in talent show
2015:call me baby the intro in evry kpop content channel
2016:monster/lotto play in the background of evry ff in TH-cam 💀
2017:kokopop the song everyone was sick of hearing yet love cus it was everywhere
2018:'love shot every idol did this cover lol become the international kpop anthem
When i say exo are the standard I mean it
Facts
@@anakhasajith718 ❤
The Eve was even performed more by trainees than Lay did lol
@@EXOxALAMATvocalkings yep and that the power of exo ❤
That the thing about exo rapper they have the best delivery and tone in kpop they adapt to every style u would love lightsaber rap it's a collaboration song with starwars also you're right exo is the first kpop group to have acapella bridge I mean they started to many trend in kpop
King of flexing their talents and versatility and originality
I like your reactions, hope you can react to exo from time to time
EXO All The Perfect !!!
awww ... they are so talented please moreee 🥰
Exo is a unique group in kpop they are so talented
Love Shot is a pretty simple, but catchy song…but it was mainly the iconic MV visuals, outfits and choreo that got people really talking about it and coming back for more. Love Shot’s views just shows how thirsty us fans can be lol.
And the pitched voices in the back that are used for the instrumental in Obsession are a loop of “I wantcha, I wantcha, wantcha.” Which considering the lyrics snd title..are pretty fitting lol.
They're a really complete group, they're handsome guys, every member is very, very handsome and they have so many talents
Exo is the group that comes ones in a lifetime.. So unique, so powerfull.. Their vocals are just untouchable
Also not long ago i found for myself another incredible group which i liked as much as exo (honestly i never thought I would stan another group except exo)
ATEEZ! A really talented and charismatic and incredible group 🔥 i was really shocked by their stage pressence
He's so whip in chanyeol's rap on monster🔥
Exo is most versatile group there is and there is a reason they are called as powerhouse of Vocals.❤ #weareoneEXO
● Xiumin, D.O (military done)
● Suho, Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun (still in the military)
● Kai, Sehun (not yet)
● LAY is very ACTIVE in (China) the only chinese members left.
Thank you so much for your reaction on exo ❣❣❣
Much love
Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... i'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo."
So the floating watch and the car that is on fire in reverse, etc., I think was -- on top of being a metaphor in the story -- also supposed to be the members using their superpowers.

EXO Vocal king. Vocal line so strong.
The flowers have two purposes, one is they represent Love and EXO is collecting love, but also the flowers are a big part of EXO's storyline.
For example, we see him disguised as a member of the police as he rescues the other members from the back of the police van in "Monster," and we see Baekhyun facing off with and confronting Xiumin in "Love Shot." :D
And now that we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO, EXO's evil clones, as part of "Obsession's" story, I am also starting to think that maybe in "Love Shot" we aren't just seeing EXO.
Thanks for your reaction. .
Exo mv is great but live performance even better...but no surprise they are king of vocal after all..
Yessss, they are.❤️🔥
What you saw in the "Obsession" MV was that EXO's doppelgangers were actually their alter ego clones and they were using their superpowers, such as Chanyeol with his fire power, Sehun uses his wind power to deflect the arrows, Baekhyun uses his power of light as a saber in the fencing battle, and Suho (the one with red hair) controls water in the room with all the pictures of water, etc. to fight their other selves.
EXO-K
💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeon) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Fun fact: Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. That's why as the leader of EXO, his stage name is Suho.)
💡Baekhyun is a main vocalist and his superpower is the ability to control light
🔥Chanyeol is the main rapper and lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control fire and his spirit animal is the phoenix.
🌏D.O. (Do KyungSoo) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force
☄Kai (Kim JongIn) is a main dancer, lead vocalist and sub-rapper and his power is teleportation (Kai means opening as in a door or gateway, so his stage name is meant to symbolize his role in the group.)
🌪Sehun is the youngest member of the group and he is a lead rapper, lead dancer and a vocalist -- his power is the ability to control wind
EXO-M
❄Xiumin (Kim MinSeok) is the oldest member of the group and he is a lead vocalist and lead rapper and his power is the ability to control snow/ice (frost)
🦄 Lay (Zhang Yixing) is the Chinese member of the group, he is a main dancer, lead vocalist and rapper -- his power is the ability to heal anything.
🌩 Chen (Kim JongDae) is a main vocalist and his power is the ability to control thunder/lightning/electricity
(As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese group)
The Chinese members who are not in this MV, but are still an important part of EXO's storyline:
🐉 Kris was the leader of EXO-M he was a main rapper and vocalist -- his power was the ability to fly and his spirit animal was a dragon (Kris left the group in April 2014.)
💭 Luhan was a main vocalist and his power was telekinesis (The ability to control things with his mind) (Luhan left the group in October 2014.)
⏰Tao (Z.Tao) was a lead rapper and vocalist and the martial artist of the group, so he did the flips and stunts in the group's routines. His power was the ability to control time (Tao ended activities with EXO in August 2015.)
