Apparently, the reason why Russia was dethroned was because before entering the MU pageant she was pursuing a career to become a police officer(Or something to do with the law) After she won the crown she kept on pursuing her desired career and left her Miss Universe obligations aside. In other words she was dethroned because she prefered to continue on with her career than meeting with her MU duties.
