It's hard to say when I ordered them so long ago. I don't really remember. Most of these PoD services would use an envelope mailer (either a cardstock /cardboard envelope or a bubble mailer). I know Printful included a cellophane bag inside the envelope as an extra layer of protection, but I don't think Zazzle did. An important note is that some of these PoD services also do *different* packaging for sample orders than they do for full customer orders. Printify is pretty barebones for sample orders, but uses a more durable envelope for normal orders.
